I lost my mom, Monday evening 7 days ago. I'm in such a grief, because she was the only person for me in my life, and there is no on left. I was there when she took her last breath. I have lost countless family members during the years. This one is the most horrible loss. I'm a man in my early 40. I have cried a lot, also in front of my partner, because it was my mom I lost, and it was tough. Already now, my partner, even she was supportive in the beginning, begins giving hints, saying. "Hopefully you can get over it", or you also have to move on after a while", and all kinds if bullshit hints. When i asking her, what are you talking about, she says i misunderstanding her. No I don't misunderstanding her, I'm.old enough to know, that most women, can't handle a man that is crying.

I have decided, if she can't handle, that my grief will take some times, then I will be better off on my own.

EDIT: Thank you for all your comments, much appreciated. I'm taking one day at a time. And have had some online psychologist consultation, provided though my retirement/health insurance company
