This is my experience as well. We're not allowed to speak. Just follow orders. They don't seek allies, they seek soldiers to order around. It's why I don't want to be affiliated with gender centric movements. People use it as ammunition against you, because someone else said this so you must think this too.

Even the least likely ones to block you for being a man really like to attack your karma even if your comment is super civil. This way they put a 7min lag on anything you say. And they swamp you with their own narrative. Even saying you want equality is enough for downvotes,

It's mostly about WHO said it, here on reddit

We allow free speech that can be debatable. That's when some users post threads about how some people are making radical comments and try to prove how mensrights harbours hate.

I think one of the best examples of how this subreddit is different from feminist subreddits is how much more tolerant we are of different opinions.

Several times, I have seen someone make identical posts here and on /r/feminism. Typically, the OP will be on the fence, not really agreeing or disagreeing with either subreddit, but hoping for some information from each subreddit to better understand the two sides. And every single time this happens, the post here gets a decent amount of discussion, even if it's obvious that OP doesn't agree with a lot of the discussion points brought up here. And every single time, the post on /r/feminism is deleted within minutes, leading to OP editing their post here to reflect that, as they have that "Oh, that's the difference" moment.

here every opinion is allowed (except feminism because its literally trying to end our sub and movement)

those people calling you retard are one of those toxic people who cant take other opinions or evidence into account before making a decision

its like the behavior of anti vaxxers and flatearthers

only difference being is that they believe in something that is right but dont understand the facts just go with the stuff that they think sounds nice and comfortable to them

The goal of any discussion should be progress. Even if you disagree with someone you might learn something from one another.

When the pre-determined purpose of a "discussion" is only echo-chamber propaganda, that's when the totalitarian controllers shut down all dissent to enforce one view alone, endorsed by those with power to advance their cause.

“Hate speech” is anything they hate hearing, and censorship is now dictatorship. There is a massive social constipation going on and somehow someway it will be birthed into the world regardless of censorship. The question I have is why would anyone choose to use a platform that disallows free speech in the first place? Where can we go to speak freely?

Hmmm actually the r/askfeminist sub isn’t too harsh, make sure to follow the rules of not replying directly to questions (or making top-level comments)
