This is a term I'm increasingly tired of hearing thrown about by misandrists. "Male domination" as a whole is vague but the general connotations they give it are generally negative, as if a primarily male workforce, industry, etc. is inherently a bad thing and things can be improved by having more women or even outright replacing the men. I don't ever think gender has anything to do with competancy in any line of work and whether you're male or female, that doesn't define how good you are in a particular field. But misandrists of course like to whine and complain about how a "male dominated" field makes it difficult for women to get in, not understanding it's a matter of skill and talent, but as always, they warp something to be an issue of gender discrimination when it really isn't. It never occurs to them the reason more more tend to be in certain fields or leadership positions has to do with simple more men having taken the initiative and earned their positions by their skills and competancy and reliability. As always, they expect and want to be handed things on the basis of gender and that nothing is keeping them from succeeding as long as they have talent or will improve. But instead of doing this, they whine about "male domination."

I really hate the extremely negative way the term sounds as is. Like men all over the world are conspiring to hold women back and keep them from getting ahead in life and in work. Which is definitely not the case. It's basically just another terminology for "men are the problem" and plays into their delusion that more women in positions of power and leadership would make the world a better place, when gender has nothing at all to do with being a good leader. "Male domination" has such a negative sound to it, like it paints men all over the world out to get women. Which is incredibly silly, and yet it's something many genuinely believe in and adhere to. It's particularly ridiculous in the West, where women get so much in the way of favorable and special treatment, and yet we still hear them droning on about largely non-existence "male domination."

Male domination as misandrists describe it isn't something that's truly real if they mean that the world is primarily dominated by men who seek to subjugate women and keep them down. It's just another delusion of their's and another way they like to vilify men.
