As men we will always be held to higher standards than women, just because our culture has hyperreactivity to men doing any wrong doing

Now with that being outta the way let's talk about this double standard when it comes to financial responsibility

As a man I must always look like I am grinding, like I am hustling, like I am investing, like I am on my purpose

There is nothing wrong with working hard towards your goals, I am not up for advocating to normalize laziness and over-entitlement within our society

Here's the catch 22 to this

Women don't face that very same pressure to always look busy, to be productive, to look like they got goals going in their arsenal, but it is also weirdly enough more socially acceptable for women to always be indulging in themselves, whether it be thru consumer activites like shopping and dining out or more stationary at-home activities like playing video games or doing their nails/hair/makeup, most women will never face that very burden of having to be successful

Yet how do feminists' expect me to take them seriously about their pay gap, when they're not even adressing the big elephant in the room? The stigma of male indulgence and the over-acceptance of female indulgence/pampering.

Men are literally called manchildren for enjoying leisure hobbies like video games, collecting toys or called toxically masculine for enjoying traditionally masculine hobbies such as cars, woodworking, sports, going to the gym, etc.

Men must always look like they're hustling, grinding, busting ass, etc

And the majority of net taxpayers are men

Meanwhile a lot of women can literally use up their men's savings for pure selfish indulgences such as getting their nails done, for a long nite out with the girls, go out partying and drinking, etc. And if she wastes those savings, dammed to hell for the guy

Meanwhile men are always told to save every penny and DARE not enjoy a vacation, their hobbies or some time with their boys

I believe this is why most men are groomed into philosophies like minimalism and simple living

Because as a man how can you even enjoy the very fruits of your own labor?

Have we as a society become this one sided about just holding men accountable and not women?
