There is a new comment posted on /r/mensrights every 10 seconds. Here is how violent and unhinged comments happen:

Once or twice per day, a genuine crazy person posts here.
Much more often, an SRS sock puppet attempts to troll the MRM and make us look bad.
Futrelle and his faithful flock also contribute sock puppets and meat puppets. Futrelle's attacks are more sophisticated, because he coordinates his coop of crazies to upvote nasty comments just before making a screen capture.

The mods delete the posts within a few minutes, but sometimes Futrelle gets a screen capture before the offending post gets removed.

It quite understandable that people can lose their minds in the face of extreme pain, pressure and injustice, no matter what the situation or the gender of the actor.

Acknowledging that and supporting the behaviour are two different things.

If course David Futrelle would understand a woman reaching breaking point but men - in his world men are are supposed to just man up and take it.

Linking to Manboobz is almost as bad as linking to SRS.

Also, I find it a little ironic that speaking hypothetically about doing such things is met with such amazing backlash.

Yet, when women beat or kill accused sexists or rapists, it's met with cheers and support from the same people who would chastize /r/mensrights based on comments taken completely out of context.
