Its a generic picture with generic people. With a little imagination you can construct this image to say what ever bias you might already have. Do I think the guy looks creepy or "rapey." No, to me he looks like a stupid poser not sure how he is suppose to look or act in public.

This is one of the creepier things about feminism... the attitude --> perception --> reaction factor. The original poster and the commenters defending the assertion see something dark and sinister in the image not because it is there, but because that is how they look at all men, all the time.

This matches up to a test which psychologists do to learn more about any given patient. The patient is shown a simple image and asked to make up a story to explain what they see. From the details of the story, the psychologist garners clues to personality characteristics, hang-ups, issues, attitudes, you name it. It's called the Thematic Apperception Test, and has been used for decades.

On its own, it's not a reliable diagnostic or treatment tool, but in conjunction with other methods, it can help with the assessment of the patient's mindset and attitudes.

In this case, taken in context with other posts among the reddit feminist network, the discussion indicates that the group has developed an attitude of defensive enforcement toward the term "rape culture."

The use of the pilfered term "rape culture" carries with it the persuasive power of having one's conspiracy theory accepted by society at large. The phrase has been loosely redefined from its original application to the culture of blatant tolerance of prison rape to a societal attitude toward and perception of women which by condoning things which are unwanted but not rape, somehow encourages rape. Essentially, the group has gotten to the point where they're now labeling the circumstance of any man being out in public as "rape culture."

IMO the male model is trying (unsuccessfully) to imitate a very typical pose of Tom Cruise in his films (before he claimed to be "the authority" on everything as a scientologist, of course).

It's something like a look of "great interest" + "surprise", as if he were thinking "what to do", in a somehow mysterious background. But of course the character needs a previous "halo" of attractiveness and "goodness" that this picture can't reflect.

Regarding the girl, she's not scared, she's rather attracted. She feels "touched" -no pun intended- by what she has seen. Either by shyness or maybe by "surprise" she does not look at him directly, but the picture tries to show she's been impacted by his looks.

Not a very good job, I think. But for what I see in the comments, the original OP is hilarious, his mind is completely fucked up. He should look for professional help.

They just look emo. I like emo/ goth. If I was in art class painting a picture with a guy and a girl in it, this would be how they look. I think it's supposed to look like how a drug user looks. The thousand mile stare or whatever.
