Misandrists often like to bring up the following as claims of how difficult they have it when they don't get their way, and they're frequently brought up whenever you bring up issues faced by men.

  • Patriarchy
  • Rape Culture
  • Systemic/Systematic/Institutionalized Misogyny
  • Male Domination
  • Male Privilege
  • Female Oppression/suppression/subjugation
  • Glass ceilings

Whenever you bring up that men also have inequalities, that misandry exists, etc. they'll often drone on with nonsensical rebuttals such as "men can never be oppressed by women," "misandry isn't systemic like misogyny is," "Patriarchy hurts men, too," etc. I feel of these things are definitely non-existent, at least in Western nations. Women have so much aid and support in the West and men get extremely little by comparison, and yet misandrists still enforce their "women most affected" narrative and want to deflect from anything affecting men. The fact the Caring For Women organization that I mentioned just earlier is something that exists and is able to organize events for women and isn't gender-inclusive at all shows right there that these aren't real concepts in this part of the world.

I'm not saying misogyny isn't a real thing (it is, along with misandry) or that women don't face issues (they certainly do, as do men), but claiming misogyny is a systemic issue and men can never face the same inequalities and hardships as women is more misandrist victimhood BS and another way of deflecting from any sort of aid for men or attention to men's issues. Misandrists don't even realize how much they infantalize women with this silliness and set them back. It's honestly disturbing so many genuinely believe all of the things listed above to be real.
