We're in class, and it's predominantly female, when we start talking about what we find attractive in the other gender. A girl raises her hand and comes out with "tall" (no response from anyone) Pronto, the guy behind me raises his hand, and says "thin". Every girl turns in shock and gives evil eyes, the female teacher sends him out of the room for 'inappropriate comments' so I speak up and give the usual double standards line...

"How can you categorise attractiveness by something we have absolutely no control over and think it's ok, but go crazy when a guy says he finds thin girls attractive? Weight is controllable, it's a choice girls make, and we find girls with motivation to keep healthy attractive."

Guess what? Detention. Fucking ridiculous. The kicker is that the teacher and 2 of the girls in that class about 20 minutes later were actively fat shaming a girl doing P.e out the window.

What annoys me a little about this whole situation is that most men just don't care enough. They let sexism slip playing the 'cool calm guy' and it doesn't get attention. Then the one time it gets attention, cue a heap of more sexism. Ridiculous.
