So I’m 16 and have a job at a local pizza place. Me and my buddies were working together last night and of course we mess around like teenagers do. The two coworkers I was with always like to make “gay jokes” to be funny and were doing so pretty much the whole night to each-other. This female coworker of mine was even around during them making the jokes and found it funny and just called us weirdos jokingly. Later in the night one of my coworkers make some joke to me like, “shut up before I spank you.” I responded by saying, “come over here and kiss my butt.” Now I know this is immature but we were just being idiots trying to make the time go by. Anyways, when I said come and kiss my butt one of my female coworkers who is the same age as me was nearby and heard me say it. She wasn’t even in the same room as me when I said it but somehow she turned it into that I said it to her directly. She reported it to the management and it really confused me because all of the guys were making jokes like this and she didn’t care until I did. I felt singled out. I am a very quite person at work and usually just laugh when my buddies make these jokes to me, so of course the one time I joke back something like this happens. The next time I see her I am going to try to explain this to her but I feel like she just doesn’t like me anymore. It all feels unfair. I know we are dumb and shouldn’t be making those jokes to begin with, but all of us our minors and found it funny collectively. I’m just hoping nothing bad comes of this and she will not have a grudge against me.
