Pratically: Unconditionnal love come from close family, and respect is determined by how much respect he have for other. "Human value," is an artificial construct; there is no objective measure.

The proper question is, "To WHOM is a man worth anything?"

The problem is that the generalized answer is, "Society," and a man's value to society is simply his ability to contribute to that society, generally through labor and is thus determined by actions.

A woman's value is the ability to make more men (whether she actually does or not), and is thus intrinsic.

This is the fundamental flaw in ideologies that promote absolute egalitarianism.

Nothing! A 20-year-old has no value unless your parents are wealthy or you are about to go to some prestigious university, men have to create value to be considered valuable and men are loved conditionally unlike women, kids, or pets.

I've seen a lot of comments here which say that a man's worth is his net worth!

Instead of questioning the status quo, can anyone suggest any method(s)/measures by which one can remove/diminish the societal belief that a man's worth is his net worth, or at least, suggest measures to ensure that both men and women are judged by the same standards i.e. by their net worth/what they bring to the table!

What is a man worth?

Well, I recall running across - I think in a law library, book on how to calculate the value of a life - I think it was mostly for wrongful death lawsuits and the like. So, if one's looking to hang a price tag on the value of a person's life ...

But ... sounds more like you're looking for the everything else bits ... in which case also quickly brings up, how are you going to, e.g. qualify, quantify/measure, and compare ... and ... compare to what exactly?

So, if we get down to those bits, and, regardless of gender ...

(Mostly) just a meat bag taking up space and consuming resources, or ... how exactly do they benefit society, others, make the planet a better more pleasant place, etc. Some will argue all are worthy of intrinsic love, value, and consideration, etc. Others have quite different perspectives.

Some men are worth more than others. Honestly you're in a burning hospital. You dragging out the downed emergency nurse that will probably go on to save countless others or the junkie that he was trying to save from an overdose.

One of our problems is we want to confuse equal opportunity with equal results. Then we can add in others start with greater opportunity and you get the picture.
