yeah, sure. if you completely ignore the statistics he provided. he showed his own anecdotes to make the point of how crazy it is that we can believe so many women have been murdered or raped, when we don't even know anyone who's been murdered, and we know very few women who have been raped. he was making a rhetorical point intended to make you ask yourself the same question. AND THEN he provided statistics to back up his point. but of course feminists will always selectively ignore what you say, or build up strawmen to argue with.

the rest of their retorts are "omg how ignorant you know nothing about the rest of the world aside from britain, i'm so cultured and traveled and liberal so i know that the real world is really bad and dangerous and scary and you have no idea." which is funny because he already responded to that, as i'm sure he anticipated those arguments. but they argue with it relying on the fact that some people are really stupid, and will forget (or fail to understand) that he already responded to that criticism before it was made.

i do love the sort of cultural snobbery of left wing elitists though. they think they know so much about the world because they read "the alternative media." i see the same shit from these people when they talk about israel and palestine, acting like they have personally been there, and the rest of us are just confused about what gaza is really like. for those people, i prescribe a video.
