As I delve in to the men's advocacy info and am inundated with feminist logic and things, this is one thing that consistently irks me. The overwhelming faces of feminists in the west are white... Straight up... So why is race/ethnicity presented as a potential source of privilege only for men? Does being female absolve them of the benefits of their lack of melanin? Why does race even matter when talking about gender issues? Obviously cultural differences apply different gender norms, but gender issues are much broader than racial issues. When I think of men's rights I don't specify based on my race or only want benefits to befall my ethnic group.
