I think it boils down to 2 things:

The belief that patriarchy is oppressing women WITH the belief that men are primarily the ones behind the patriarchy WITH a tendency think of men as a monolith.
The belief that victims are meek and that they must generate sympathy. Men usually will not enduldge in self pity, complain about unfairness and cry for help. They will usually take things in their own hands, for better or for worse. To a lot of people that disqualifies them as victims.

they do not understand and know what mras want or stand for... they assume we want to take away womens rights and silence women while they talk about womens issues... since feminists established that men as class oppress women as class it is assumed that women can not consent and have no agency...

first off I would not say men's rights supports women's rights too. That is just not what the movement is about. im sure the vast majority of MRAs want women to be equal to men and will support women's rights in so far as it also supports men's rights but in the case where a woman's right directly comes in conflict with a right if men and young boys then we will fight against it.

Say a woman's right to circumcise her child. I'm sure most of us would be against something like that where applicable.

Those people come here looking for posts to confirm their pre-conceived notions about us. So they scroll past all of the posts about inequality and they find the few posts where people here do bash women. Then those people are like "we knew it, men's rights is all about hating women". 🙄

Feminism and progressive identity politics seek advantages for women and to this end claim men are privileged oppressors of women who are victims.

Facts about how men are disadvantaged and women advantaged as well as seeking equal rights for men directly challenges this agenda and related propaganda, so those pushing the above must try to silence such facts. Canceling, censoring and ad hominem attacks of the MRM are means of doing so.

There is no working together for a common goal because the goal of advantaging women directly conflicts with the goal of equal rights for men.

I got banned from r/interestingasfuck for posting one joke comment about some Bollywood movie clip saying “Issac Newton is rolling in his grave” and “Bollywood Movies are built different” because it was really crazy and wham auto ban because I’m a member of this sub. Trying to appeal the ban but fucked it up so I have to wait a month to try again, but I just stopped following it because if that happens for me even just being in this sub I don’t want to be there anymore. It was literally my first comment on there, I just followed it because I liked the videos and posts that was it. SMH.

You're falling into their trap. They will keep calling you a misogynist because that's how they justify their belief system. For feminists, some feminists are not man hating enough so they're also labelled as misogynysts.

If you're a decade or more in this movement, you dont really care about PR or appearances. I suggest you stop wasting your energy and helping them by talking about the non existing misogyny in this movement. I don't blame you tho, its a phase that everyone goes through.

Men's rights movement issues and threats are internal, not external.

In my opinion, just saying "we want gender equality and we fight against patriarchy" is enough, since very few feminists have expressed how patriarchy oppresses males as well, and no feminist society has condemned hypocrites on their side.
