Here is the future from now on :

  1. MRAs bring a case to the Supreme Court after years of effort
  2. Supreme Court says that Congress will soon adress the issue
  3. Congress fail at it.
  4. Go back to number 1

Laws and constitutions are useless without the will of the population. Laws and constitutions are just words that can be interpreted as someone wish. For example, Taiwan Supreme Corut ruled that male only draft was not unconstitutional because men are stronger physically. The only hope is that men wake up and say enough.

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

At least three justices seem to indicate they might support draft equality. From the article:

"It remains to be seen, of course, whether Congress will end gender-based registration under the Military Selective Service Act. But at least for now, the Court's long-standing deference to Congress on matters of national defense and military affairs cautions against granting review while Congress actively weighs the issue," Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who was joined by Justices Stephen Breyer and Brett Kavanaugh, wrote in a June statement.

[–]Ok_Government6871 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why is treating everyone equal so hard?

[–]DAisuKElevi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because we are not equal. And society is slowly realizing it. AGAIN. Female soldiers would only weaken the army. But guess what? If feminists really want equality (they do not), then let's put these women there and watch the REST of society crumble.

[–]JannTosh12[S] 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Does this mean conservatives are bad on every issue and liberals are not worse on m at issues? Of course not. But on this particular issue and in the case of many mens rights issues, conservatives have been shown to be just as bad if not worse. On the issue of ending male draft registration, they have shown themselves to be downright abhorrent

[–]intactUS_throwaway 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They all suck. Fuck all of them.

[–]DAisuKElevi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agree. I believe in individual freedom since I am a christian and God gave us free will. But I think parents should incentive traditional views on their children since childhood, because apparently, that's the most efficient way of running a society (mostly without government on your ass). But conservatives do caused a lot of simpism (lol) throughout all these years. Conservatism urgently needs reform.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s Feminists first then Conservatives

[–]Letsgobrandon__FJB 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree it’s not great in terms of equality but do we really expect women to to fill physical combat roles at the same efficacy as men? Women have consistently shown far worse grades in any physical training and everything combat/survival related compared to male counterparts. Do we want fill our fighting force with an equal amount of women to men? Should we? How do we rectify that fact while making the law more equal for men?

[–]JannTosh12[S] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“ Momentum has been growing to make women register since 2015, when all combat jobs were opened to them, rendering moot the previous rationale for excluding them from the draft. In July, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted 21-5 to add women to the draft registration system, with seven Republicans among the "yes" votes. The House Armed Services Committee approved the change in September in a 35-24 vote, with four Republicans supporting it. The committee approval came after a congressionally mandated commission last year recommended draft registration be expanded to include women, calling it a "necessary and fair step." But a small, vocal group of conservatives was adamantly opposed to making women register and threatened to vote against the NDAA as a whole if the final bill included the provision to, in its words, "draft our daughters." Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., a potential 2024 presidential candidate who led the charge against the provision in the Senate, responded to reports that it is being removed from the compromise NDAA by saying he "certainly hope[s] that is the case."

[–]DavidByron2 -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Sorry but this just isn't true. Or rather both parties are equally conservative in this regard. If you just mean to blame conservatives with a small "c" then that's self-evident. Feminists are conservatives too after all.

It isn't a Republican party thing. In any case the Democratic party has run to the right of the Republicans in recent years.

[–]JannTosh12[S] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes it is true as you can see from the article

[–]DavidByron2 -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sure; the media never lies about politics. My bad.

[–]Schadrach 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Which politicians were being vocally against this again? Which ones were vocally pushing to have that removed from the bill?

In this case, tradcons are the problem.

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

The ACLU calls the men only registration for selective service as overt sexual discrimination. An amendment was introduced by Democrats to require women to register for Selective Service because it's currently discrimination. Sure there are some Republicans who support it, and some Democrats don't.

[–]DavidByron2 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Fact: it was the Democratic controlled House that removed the provision making the draft equal.

The ACLU would never support this lawsuit these days either.

Name a Democratic politician who has criticized the Democratic removal of the provision please.

Name any politician or feminist in the country who has defended the idea of drafting women too.

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

You're wrong, about so much.

The provision (designed by Democrats) passed both chambers but was negotiated out in order to fund the annual defense bill. Congressional leaders, have to fight and negotiate provisions in bills. It's how laws are passed (source: Schoolhouse rock). /s

You want names of politicians who support the idea, IT PASSED BOTH CHAMBERS with Democrats and Republicans voting for it. Generally, that would mean it would stay in but there was conservative opposition regarding this issue. And Democrats used it as a tool to negotiate Republican support for Military Justice reform, according to what's being leaked.

Please post your source indicating that the majority of opposition to the provision was Democrats, not Republicans. Use conservative or progressive sources, I don't care.

Also, the ACLU filed a petition of certiorari to the Supreme Court this year on behalf of the National Coalition For Men (NCFM) regarding this issue. In their petition, they urged the Supreme Court to either end the gender-based registration or make everyone register. Where is your source that the ACLU wouldn't support this issue these days? Please post it. Here are my sources:

https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/aclu-urges-supreme-court-end-discriminatory-sex-based-registration-draft

https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/aclu-comment-supreme-court-decision-deny-challenge-sex-based-registration-draft

Here's a CONSERVATIVE website detailing Democrats' efforts to require women to register for selective service in the "National Defense Authorization Act" this year. The article was written in September 2021. The Daily Signal is a garbage conservative website, but I see it as more compelling to you than if I linked a CNN, US News, or Politico article.

https://www.dailysignal.com/2021/09/28/house-democrats-pass-measure-requiring-women-to-register-for-draft/

[–]DavidByron2 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

So to recap: sexism was endorsed in both chambers by both the special committees (both Democrat led and controlled) and the overall vote (ditto), and the USSC justice who rejected the appeal was also a Democrat. And no Democratic politicians are disagreeing with the so-called Republican position..... but you claim it was the Republicans who did it all?

Are you not from the USA then? The media tends to misrepresent how things work in US politics.

was negotiated out in order to fund the annual defense bill

A bill which is MUST PASS for the conservatives but not the left? Is this like that sketch from Burning Saddles where the sheriff threatens to shoot himself?

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Your sources about the ACLU not doing something that they obviously did? WHERE'S YOUR SOURCE?

Your source that it was the Democrats who wanted the provisions killed? WHERE'S YOUR SOURCE?

I particularly don't care about any opinions you have unless they are backed by source.

I gave you sources and you gave me incoherent opinions.

[–]DavidByron2 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You gave me sources to junk facts.

You can't just post random links and say "look! a source!". it has to be germane to the discussion.

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

LOL Okay David. You said the ACLU would not do something nowadays, I gave you two links on the ACLU website that shows they are. At that point any honest person would admit that they were talking out of their ass. But sure, you know more about the ACLU then they do. /s

When proving the Republican are against the Democrats provision for having women register for Selective Service, I gave you a website owned by the Heritage Foundation, a known conservative organization. If anyone can express the conservative perspective it would be them. But David can never admit he speaks without knowing a Goddamm thing.

If these are random posts, give me a random post of yours from an organization that says:

1) The ACLU would not defend the provision to have women register for Selective Service, nowadays.

2) Republicans are the ones who championed having women register for the Selective Service, and not the Democrats.

Those are the two things we are discussing.

Also, how are my sources not germane to the discussion. I'm being nice, at this point I now know you are either intellectually dishonest or an idiot. I have my opinion which one.

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For anyone else who doesn't believe that it was conservatives who fought this provision in the defense bill (NDAA) here's a podcast of them bragging about it:

https://youtu.be/ftFIWL8xBa4

There are Democrats also explaining that they are coming back with an actual bill for non-gender drafts/Selective Service. They are comparing it to the the "doesn't ask doesn't tell " provision being removed from the NDAA and placed in it's own bill. This is not over.

[–]red_philosopher 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, if congress is unwilling to act, then that's proof that Congress cannot maintain laws as required to be constitutionally appropriate, and the SC will have cause to strike down the selective service law.

Either way, it's a win eventually.

[–]lineber 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This year the Supreme Court announced it would not hear arguments that could have ended the Draft, according to the ACLU website.

Also, the provision was negotiated out of the NDAA (annual defense bill) after passing both Chambers. Meaning that the provision was on its way but was used as a bargaining chip to get something else Democrat leaders wanted. A source I read, said that they used it to get Military Justice reform. More men in the Military so would affect men more often. Not sure if it's good or bad.

[–]casserole66 -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (37 children) | Copy Link

Personally, I don’t want any women in my military.

[–]Starmind0 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (36 children) | Copy Link

Neither should men be.

[–]sugondesenuets -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (35 children) | Copy Link

But men are stronger than women, does it not make sense to just have men in the military?

[–]Starmind0 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

Human rights and value have nothing to do with strength. Men don't owe women or the government their strength.

[–]sugondesenuets -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

Never said that women could work as medics on the field, and biology doesn't care about human rights, men are stronger, are you expecting a women to carry a 250pound man with around 60kg of equipment?

[–]Starmind0 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (32 children) | Copy Link

Biology never commented on the draft, it's sexist oafs like you. Not all men are strong, "but I never said all men are!1" then don't gender it. Want to justify your disgusting draft? At least claim strongest people only. It disgusts me how you're against misandry, AND gay, but still sexist against men yourself. Get the f off.

[–]sugondesenuets -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

See we don't need snowflakes like you who get offended and emotional so easily,so that's my point proven and thank you for your time :)

[–]Starmind0 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link

Calling me a snowflake and emotional because I opposed your sexism? How much of a misandristic coward does one have to be to reach your level? Against your own gender and movement? Get the fuck out of here and don't pretend like you care about men.

[–]sugondesenuets -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (29 children) | Copy Link

How am I against my own gender when I want only them to serve the military I'm not sexist, you're just an idiot because once you oppose facts that the average man is stronger than the average woman you are an idiot, and I love my mother she brought me into this world and have 5 sisters I believe they can do whatever they want but when it comes to physically demanding jobs, leave it to a man

[–]Starmind0 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

"I'm not against my own gender!". "Only men should be drafted!". It's all the same with misandristic women-worshippers like you, "I can't handle seeing my poor sisters and mother get their hands dirty!1!" like a little coward. I have more sisters than you, and they are actually brave to desire defending their loved ones. I said it before and will say it again, men being stronger than women on average got nothing to do with the draft. For the millionth time, piggy, if it was actually about strength then you would have taken physically-strong women too, but you don't care. Misandristic cunts like you suddenly pretend to be soldiers and pretend to care about politics, war and winning it when you can practice your misandry. Men don't owe you shit. Men don't owe the government shit. And most importantly, men don't owe women shit. Saying disgustingly sexist bullshit like "leave physically demanding jobs to a man" really shows how your precious sisters and mother treat you, a slave. And you're dumb and misandristic enough yourself that you like it. Men don't like you coward. Neither do gay men. Neither does my femboy friend who hates exactly your type. Neither does my sisters who aren't sexist like yours. In short, get the fuck out of this sub, misandristic oinky.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm not misandristic I believe men and women are completely equal but you cannot deny the fact that men are capably stronger and faster in the battlefield,if it was between me and my brother's or my sister's I can guarantee you my sister's would never have to see battle and that's being a good brother is to protect your sisters and mother at all costs that's not being a misandrist that's being a good brother and it will be the same as a dad or father I will do anything to defend my wife/daughter or son and if it means taking my life to save theirs them gladly

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Again, men are on average stronger, not all or always. And again, nobody cares about your disgusting and discriminatory ideas about the draft, saying men should be the drafted ones IS saying you think men are of less value. And baby, men aren't of less value. Every single human is equal. All. Every single one. Get that in your think corrupted skull. All. Not even the strongest man on earth owes you a micro shit honey. "Being a good brother is to protect your sisters and mother!1!" And being a good sister is protecting your family. I'm not even surprised that you don't even protect your brothers or father. I'm not sure if you have brothers, but you still don't care about your father. Even if your father was a bad parent, aren't we talking "objectively"? Oaf. Moving on, no one said don't protect your family. No one said don't be a hero. No one said trying your best to protect the ones you love is wrong. Just, simply, don't fucking gender it. It's not that hard, misandrist. My God, tradcons like you and your obsession with your sisters and mother seriously are puke-worthy. Just answer me this, why the fuck do you care about "misandry in media" if you don't care about the misandry here? And why the fuck are you watching femboys if you're all about worshipping your future wife and sacrificing men and boys? Coward.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm not a coward you just wanna throw absaloutely anything at me because you can't face the fact listen women can go out and fight but naturally women are better carers then men,and yes they are you you dumb or something put an average women and an average men beside each other and get them to fight none of them have any fighting experience and the man will always win,I will tell you how weak women are compared to men,a women co plains everytime she's on her period because of her mood swings which is caused by the increase of testosterone in their bodies, yet men have 3 times the amount every single day and don't complain,we have more testosterone naturally which is basically steroids which therefore means we will always be stronger than women, why do you think men built the cities or homes or schools and hospitals, because they are capable of doing the more physical jobs now I never said women weren't capable but men are just more capable due to increase of strength, and do you notice how when you usually see women there average height is around 5'4 when men are on average around 5'11 to 6ft it's not sexist there is nothing wrong with society no patriarchy shit it's just men are stronger and anyone who says different is an idiot biology and science proves men are stronger it's that simple and if you cannot accept that fact then you are an idiot

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Women are not better carers, literally most murderers of children are women, and most criminals in the US were raised by single mothers. Meanwhile the existence of father figures have proved to significantly make children preform better. All, completely destroying your filthy argument. The women you talk about who whine a lot are pampered women who can't act like adults. And the mood swings during periods have nothing to do with testosterone, it's different hormones changing levels. Testosterone doesn't make you complain, it doesn't burn in your veins. There's nothing to complain about. And men building cities and buildings is a whole process, there are tons of factors such as boys getting taught to work in more dangerous jobs, just like you dragging men to be drafted. You can't even realize your own actions. And I never even said there was a patriarchy, this is a MRM sub. Men's rights movement. We are against the idea of a "big bad patriarchy that oppressed everyone". My words are clear, men should never be drafted no matter what. Have some basic human decency and respect. You can whine all you want, but if you even remotely support drafting men, you're a coward.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

So now my argument is filthy and yes I know women are more likely to abuse children in households and relationships but they are still the better carers and I know that because my nephew with my mother is constantly happy and playing but with my dad is always frustrated it's just natural for women to care for the child it always has been for tens of thousands of years and I don't why your getting so angry for like ye I agree women nowadays aren't what they used to be I'm not misandristic literaly I've been cheated on in a six year relationship and have been told by many others they were different and was thrown under the bus over and over again and women have 80% of household spending power and the law favours women over men,I know men get it worse in society all I'm saying is men are physically stronger that's all I'm saying

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

So you just admitted that women statistically abuse children more, but you still say women are better carers just because of your nephew? The world doesn't revolve around you or your nephew. There are people with fathers who risk everything for them, and mothers who hate the kids very much. Humans, for years, have worked together. The disgusting gender roles you hear about in the past are false. Both men and women hunted. Both men and women gathered berries. And both men and women loved their children. No one said men aren't stronger on average, but men being stronger doesn't mean they should work more. That same logic was used against black people when they were enslaved. If you really know the suffering of men in society, NEVER support, say, or justify drafting men. It's that simple.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I justify drafting men because I saw statistics on YouTube from a US military test taken in 2020 showing that women didn't respond or react as fast as a man and we're barely able to carry the weight of a man and not just from my nephew I have 11 siblings and I've seen it time and time again and yes women do abuse more your acting as if Im on their side listen yes we're all human but the women today are horrible I'm very much with men like but even look on Google men are stronger

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Again, I know men are on average stronger, but that doesn't mean it's ok to draft them. It's NEVER ok.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

It's not ok to draft anyone, war is horrible but think of it like this like tests were done obviously it's not just gonna be all women drafted because they would know there at a distinct disadvantage if they were going against another say America and Russia the only reason why America is number one is due to technology but Russia isn't far behind,America is one of the very few militaries of the world who have women in them, governments don't care about what people think all they know is that men are stronger so they will always go for the men no matter what women say they couldn't give a shit

You are right, the government only cares about taking men and drafting them. THAT'S THE POINT, they SHOULDN'T. It's disgusting and sexist. And the power of people can always overpower the government. Men should never be drafted.

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

But that will never change because men can't change so we will always be stronger therefore will always be drafted and doesn't matter if it's sexist it's always gonna be the same

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Who said we should change men's strength? We can't and shouldn't. But we should respect their strength and rights. People like us in this movement have challenged the sexism even under the law a lot. Change CAN happen and WILL happen.

K now I'm confused what's your point here what do you think do you think men are oppressed or women like what is your opinion

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Men are oppressed. How did I not make that clear?

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I agree alright I never said men weren't I'm sure a fine gentlemen/lady as yourself is very nice and caring and I hope you have a nice day?

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

And disgusting gender roles,so why are there still women who love being housewives and why do men work longer hours than women and married men work even longer and why do they work in construction, mechanics, plumbers, sewage etc when all women have the free choice of working the same jobs as seen in Scandinavia it's because women will always go for the less physically demanding jobs no matter what the pay is and men are more money motivated no matter what the job is

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You should study psychology then. Human education and environment are the biggest factors to why men and women. Men and women choose those things based on how they were raised, NOT biology.

[–]sugondesenuets0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

No from the very start it was always the men who hunted/built and gathered food while the women would bath the children and take care of them and prepare the food it's natural

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

No, both of them did all of that. Those saying men and women had "roles" are lying to you. They were trying to survive, they didn't give a fuck about dicks and vaginas.

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Ye true they didn't give a fuck about genders, they gave a fuck about the strong and strongest how do you know it's lies what I'm saying I can actually back it up since men are stronger it only makes sense they went out and hunted and gathered food

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

No, because again, back then they only cared about surviving. Not barking like dogs that men and women didn't act like their "role". They literally both hunted and did everything together. Quit the false ideas and lies.

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Alright yes groups when they got much bigger the men would've been assigned to as seen in Viking eras and the Romans men were assigned as warriors and hunters while women cooked and cleaned

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

As people got smarter, they got lots of good ideas and inventions but also disgusting ideas and discrimination. That's why after years, most men and women acted as a "role". But it's not biological, they are all taught to act this way.

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Which was the right thing to do because would you not agree that men and women are better at at other things? And besides it's only the media who really cares about it everyone doesn't really give a shit I see women were I'm from the always go for nursing but I ask why they don't go for warehouse Jobs or mechanics they say because they love nursing it's not sexist it's because men and women actually prefer and are good/better at doing things

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

No, people are better at things that they study and love, not because of dicks and vaginas. And I just told you that education and environment are the biggest reasons to how people act. So those women in nursing you're talking about were raised differently than men in mechanical jobs, that's how they grew up to like different things.

[–]sugondesenuets1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Ye exactly

[–]Starmind03 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

But that not the right way. The right way is to treat all children with equal love and treatment, so they can grow up and do things they love. Not things the parents forced on them because of dicks and vaginas.

Exactly if my sister wants to be in the army or a mechanics sure go ahead but my sister's they love nails and makeup and they want to open their own salon

Traditional women will be traditional. Idk why this is surprising, conservatism doesn’t move for modernity or equality of groups. Note I am pro no sides, they all suck, I just do not see how this is surprising.

[–]63daddy -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

There are politicians on both sides that oppose requiring women to register, but conservatives especially can’t afford to lose female voters.

I second Samuel’s prediction. While exempting women is discriminatory and unconstitutional, Congressmen and congresswomen overall have nothing to gain and potentially much to lose by supporting women equally register.

[–]JannTosh12[S] 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Except if it had made it to the Senate floor it would have passed

It was conservative politicians constantly saying “don’t draft our daughters” and demanding this be removed

Tradcons are to blame for this discrimination not being eliminated. This is a fact

[–]63daddy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. As I said, conservatives overall have more incentive to vote against women being included in the draft or selective service.

[–]ruchitshah1 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I live in India where there are 40 laws for women and even not a single law for man. In America what is going on is just because men are keep quiting and government is still in confidence that this will not lead to defeat in elections.

[–]frustr8tion 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well... Yeah. I think it's fairly obvious that most radfems mirror behaviours of tradcons in their approach, they just have different sexist ideals that they like to abide by.

Both usually hate trans people and have incredulous racial bias though.

Feminists like prime minister of finland are too at leqst conservatives dont support feminism

[–]Ryzon_finity 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I suppose. They believe it is the males duty to defend the nation from threat, HOWEVER, they also believe if any women who can meet the criteria in training the same as men, then they are just as deserving to serve as men. The draft is simply because men, being the physically stronger sex, is a part of the responsibility written in the constitution. At one point men also had a responsibility to do something called "bucket duty" which was pretty much mandatory "volunteer" firefighting. It's more slippery when there's the viewing if history. Women, if capable should serve in the draft. But, I hope this kind of enlightens in the why.

[–]Liberal_On_Guns -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sure but conservatives are also the only ones I ever see speak out about conscription, e.g. Ron Paul.
