I personally don't think it is a matter of whether or not "toxic masculinity" exists. It is a much weirder concept than that.
The thing is, "toxic masculinity" must exist technically speaking because it is defined in terms of things that actually are real: it is a list of all the bad behaviors that men can possibly engage in. The problem with the term is not that it doesn't exist, but rather that it is a carefully constructed Trojan horse designed to trick men into submitting to female supremacists.
It is usually presented as a concept that is being genuinely offered to men as something that they can work to overcome and therefore help to make the world a better place for themselves and for women.
But notice right away that there is no equivalent "toxic femininity" to name the bad behaviors that women can engage in.
Now imagine you are living in a dystopian universe like the one presented in the novel 1984. The language in the totalitarian society in the book was specifically set up to have words for the things they did want people to talk about but no words for the things they did not want people to talk about.
The people who came up with the term "toxic masculinity" are doing this in real life. They want to get people talking about the bad things men do but never talking about the bad things women do. So that is why they only came up with a term for one but not the other.
Another interesting thing about the term that demonstrates that it is a Trojan horse is that in spite of the fact that it is supposedly designed to help men, a lot of men find the term insulting, like it is saying they are toxic for being men or something. Now if the intention really was to help men, well then having a bunch of men offended by the term and refusing to use it would get in the way of that goal. Yet no matter how much you point this out to the people who are proponents of the term "toxic masculinity", they refuse to consider changing the term and instead stubbornly insist that any men who are offended by the term should just get over it.
Doesn't really sound like they are that serious about using it to help men then, does it?
They have actually created a whole big list of terms like this, just like in 1984, all designed to get you to focus on the bad things about men while ignoring anything bad that women do and thinking of women as helpless victims of the evil mean men at all times. Here is a list of all of these terms that I am aware of so far for reference:
- fragile masculinity
- hepeating
- himpathy
- male privilege
- male tears
- manslamming
- mansplaining
- manspreading
- toxic masculinity
If you look each of these up online, you will see that they are all used to mock men in some fashion or another. But if you try to argue against it in any way, they will try to turn it around on you and pretend that you are the one attacking women by disagreeing.
Also, they have redefined the word "sexism" to only mean sexism against women but not men (they claim that sexism towards men does not exist). They claim that "misandry" is not a real thing either, but of course they still say that "misogyny" is real.
And finally, although I haven't seen these two as often, they also occasionally spell the word "woman" either as "womxn" or "womyn" in order to censor the word "man" out of it as if there is something detestable about men. They claim that the real purpose is to make the word "woman" independent of "man" so that it won't feel like women are defined in terms of men, but if that was really the case, they could have used another term like "lady" instead and completely avoided the whole issue.
All of it is just manipulating the language to try to control what you think. Their hope is for this kind of language to enter the mainstream, which you will see is already happening to a certain extent if you search for news articles using these terms. You can even find examples of politicians and TV shows using these terms from time to time.
Once someone controls the language, they effectively control the debate (assuming you actually accept their terminology as valid, that is).

No. They do, but they are not the only ones.
What about conservatives, libertarians and anti-feminists? Don't they believe that most men are bad and oppressive as well?

Yeah, they do. Consider carefully what they say about men.

What do libertarians, conservatives and anti-feminists say about men in India, China, Islamic world, Africa, Latin America, ...?

There's a difference between "not cucked" and "bad and oppressive" but I wouldn't expect an intellectual midget like you to understand it

Honestly, I just feel "toxic masculinity" describes the men who feel that since they're men they get the final say in everything and things have to be they're way because they feel they're higher than everyone. It harms both men and women.
Basically a phrase to describe egotistical assholes (I've seen this type of behavior in my peers and my family, specifically my uncle's, who allow my aunt's to have little to no say in what they do)
And Toxic Feminism/Feminity is when women feel that they have special privileges since they are women and have to get what they want. They feel that men have to obey them and shit. (The ones who make false accusations and the fat ones with multiple piercings and dyed hair)
The toxic Masculinity most radical feminist think of is pretty much bullshit. But there are still people, men and women alike, who feel that their gender makes them more important than others. That's what I call toxic
