Way to frame this in a completely transparent way so that we all know what you're actually talking about. Abortion (or not) should be the woman's choice in part because it helps to equalize the inherent inequality that exists due to woman's singular ability to become pregnant and give birth.

The two consenting adults in your example are not equal to begin with.

It isn't unreasonable given the conditions you're talking about. It's less unreasonable considering real-life conditions such as only one person can realistically make the decision to abort an unwanted pregnancy and only one person's body is affected by this pregnancy. A man cannot decide either to keep pregnancy or terminate it due to biological reasons.

I do support paper abortions in theory, but they have to protect both parties and medical abortions should be safe and accessible to all women no questions asked. Paper abortions would have a very short timeframe for a man to opt out as well, so a woman could have enough time to make her decision.

The other person also has a say. They are never held against their own will to do anything they don't want to do.

As you said, they are two consenting adults. The situations they get into together are brought upon by their own choices. Regardless if the roles are switched, the person who had "no say" equally made the choice to be in the situation they're in with other person.

It's contradictory to say the second person has no say in the choice, but then to say they are a consenting adult.

It's clear you're talking about abortion, and as much as men love to say men and women aren't equal, this one way that they aren't. Both men and women make the choice to have sex which is obvi going to lead to a baby. They made that choice together, so they chose to change their lives together, however considering women are the ones to bear the child, the way the world works leaves it up to the woman to have a final say
