People should be more detailed about the type of ambition. There good ambitions like chasing success, wealth, and self improvement. Then there’s bad ambitions like chasing someone to leech off of, a life of crime, etc.

Being hypergamous is in itself a type of ambition. It’s impossible to be ambition-less and hypergamous by definition. We live in a time where the social connotation means more to people than the actual definition. Like how nowadays rape can be classified as inappropriate touching and space invasion. It’s all very stupid.
