For this exercise -\ I’m the affirmative.\ You’re the negative.\ Give me your best counter-argument (or, at least, play “Devil’s Advocate”) if I say\ ”FEMINISM HAS BEEN A SUCCESS BECAUSE:

(1.) “. . .women are able to leave traditional wife roles in the home & earn their own money via their own careers.”

(2.) “. . .women believe they can do anything any man can do.”

(3.) “. . .women have the ability to end a marriage for ANY reason whatsoever AND receive 1/2 the marital assets & perpetual alimony.”

(4.) “. . .women have much more support via claims of abuse or “intimate violence”; even when there is no clear evidence or witnesses to corroborate their story.” #MeToo

(5.) “. . .women can have as much noncommittal, recreational sex as they choose without the stigma of being a “whore”.

(6.) “. . .women can infiltrate MALE SPACES while still keeping their traditionally FEMALE SPACES fundamentally circumscribed.”

(7.) “. . .women believe they can raise children on their own; with no assistance (outside of child support) & no input from the father.”

(8.) “. . .women can unilaterally choose to abort babies regardless of the father’s position b/c it’s ‘her body, her choice.”
