So, lately there have been a lot of threads here on looks mattering for men or not, and how much they matter, etc. I thought to bring up a case study on this issue, Adam Levine. He has said multiple times on the Voice, and in this celebrity article, that he did not lose his virginity until 22, and could barely get a girl to go on a date with him in college:

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal, in an interview at Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, said in a matter-of-fact way that he lost his virginity at around 14-15. That’s not something unusual, of course. But he did say how his stats were scorned upon by his friend Adam Levine who complained that he was late by nearly 6 years.

My question to you is, if his looks did not change much at all over the years, and this man goes from a virgin to the World's Sexiest Man Alive, dated multiple Victoria Secret models, what does this say about whether or not looks matter for a man? How do you interpret this case study? How does it change or modify your outlook on male physical attractiveness?
