EDIT: Minutes after I posted this, a few comments appeared linking the study. I misunderstood some of the other posts, thinking they were mocking the researched quoted in the article (although one or two comments did mention here in a negative light).

Now that there are comments referencing the study, the issue appears to be hypocrisy. The comments are criticizing the article for editorializing, while the comments themselves leap to conclusions in the opposite direction.

The study makes no assertion about the "nature" of men and women. It's about how we present ourselves in social media,. Part of it touches on how we interpret and attempt to reflect gender roles.
