Yea I'm not trying to catch you in a "gotcha" moment or call you a hypocrite or anything. I just want to know your opinions.

For me, porn is like "meh" idc if my partner watches it is an "escape" and as long as it's not connected to real life. Overall I don't really see a problem with it's occasional use.

Onlyfans on the other hand goes directly against this boundary because you are literally picking out a specific person and paying to see them naked. Combine that with the fact you can talk with them, tip them and request specific things from them. I agree with you it's way worse than porn and a very normal and acceptable boundary that your partner doesn't use onlyfans.

I'm not sure what your feelings are on following IG thots. What do you mean by "embarrassing"? Why would it matter if they didn't follow him back? What if he followed Michelle Obama but Michelle doesn't follow him back, is it embarrassing? What if the IG thots did follow him back, would you then think it's okay that he follows them in the first place?

As someone with a girlfriend who also watches porn I actually find the opposite to be the case. I'll find myself thinking about my girlfriend. She's my one and only love and she's the only one I can imagine doing those acts with. Granted I might not be like most men in this respect.

You're dead wrong, in fact I don't think I've met any that minded at all. Me and my girlfriend send each other things we found hot all the time, often with the implicatiojs wanting to try it ourselves.

i’ll admit im super insecure in this area so it probably hurts me more than most women im not afraid to admit that. but

It's fine and ok to have whatever boundary you need to be happy in a relationship. But as a personal life journey thing it's always worth examining why you feel the things that you do. Step back and ask, is this how I want to feel about it? Does this feeling come form an irrational source? What steps can I take to change how I feel about it? If anxiety is truly whats driving your dislike of porn then that probably isn't something you should hold onto forever.

Surprisingly enough a lot of older married men go to prostitutes not for sex, but for companionship. You hear this all the time in sex worker circles; "We had dinner, we talked, he seemed to open up to me and after that he payed me and left.". It makes me wonder what kind of marriage these guys are in that they have to go to a sex worker to have someone to open up to.

I guess it's time for a sane human being to chime in here and shut up the red pill dude who thinks women who disagree with anything he says is being "emotional" ... (When to be quite honest with you, you look pretty emotional here but alright to each their own-)

It is absolutely reasonable for OP to have a preference. It's absolutely reasonable for yourself to have a preference. She can find someone she wants to be with that maybe doesnt watch (or hides it from her), and you can find someone who doesn't have a problem with that.

OP, yes this is a pretty difficult thing to find especially in 2024. I'll try to summarize what this dude sort of meant without sounding like a brainwashed red piller; With how openly accepted and supported sex work/ sex workers has become with society growing and adapting to more progressive changes, it will be very difficult to find someone who shares those values.

Negating what this dude said, it is possible, you don't have to settle for anything less than you would prefer (as long as you don't mind the solitude that comes with that) and your views also might not be the same forever.
