On one hand, a slut is a high partner count female. "High partner count" is a variable term, but most people would consider more than 20 to be a high partner count. Lots would consider double digits to be slutty. Go ahead and call a guy a slut and see if it stings. Its almost certainly a joke. Go ahead and call a girl a virgin. She'll most likely be confused or weirded out.

On the other hand, I very rarely see girls called sluts for simply having a high p count, except sometimes by girls. Even then, people aren't usually that mad about the girls behavior, so much as what it is frequently associated with: dramatic, attention seeking behavior, constant pot stirring bullshit, general social problems, and shitty narcissist behavior.

The most common time I hear guys refer to girls as sluts is in private conversations inquiring about some girl, ie "yo dude you know jessica, right? we kissed at a party the other night and I got her number, whats her deal dude?"

The only few times I have seen guys angrily call a girl a slut is when she did something truly fucked up, like when my friends wife cheated on him with his best friend (who was the best man at their wedding) while he was deployed to Afghanistan. When his roommates found out, they threw all of his shit out of their house on the lawn. He contested it legally because there was no eviction notice, and got the cops to supervise him putting his stuff back in the house, so they all moved out right after, that same exact day, and ruined their credit by defaulting on their collective lease. When she came into one of their jobs at a cell phone company, the guy spat in her face and got fired lol.

'Slut' is not a valid word if it means someone 'who uses sex for validation' if it's only used for females.

If it doesn't apply to men, it's a useless word. Because loads of men use sex for validation. It's not something just women do.

So, 'slut' doesn't exist.

Only people who are pretty useless to society in general even use that word.

Cheaters, especially people who cheat regularly. This applies to anyone, regardless of gender. If you know you desire sex that much, either don't get into a relationship or have an open relationship that both of you are comfortable with. Also, people who agree to be someone else's side dish when you're aware that person is married/in a relationship and their partner has no idea.

A woman who has no self-respect or discrimination (or really, healthy boundaries of any kind) when it comes to her sexual habits is how I view the pejorative use of the word "slut." The one's who aren't doing it for the sex itself, but with hopes for something more (a relationship, feeling better about herself, an escape, whatever).

Otherwise, it's a woman who is not opposed to engaging in NSA sex.

"Slut" is not always a pejorative, in my world. There are self-destructive sluts, and then their are just women who like sex and don't see it for more than what it is ("healthy" sluts?).

This is pretty much what I believe.

The biggest sluts I've met are literally always fucking someone and usually several at a given time because they do it for validation and to satisfy insecurities.

Let's put it this way - a girl who has had sex with let's say 15 guys. Each time involved a certain degree of courting followed by at least an attempt at an monogamous relationship. Followed by a break and a period where the girl is single and not fucking someone, while again looking for another guy to LTR. Is this a slut? I don't think so.

A girl with the same count but is fucking a constant stream of men and had never ever been cockless because even if she attempts an LTR she's texting her ex or the gym dude, and the night after a break up she's back fucking them, is a slut.

do they exist, yeah sure. are they common? hell no. high N count means they most likely having sex for validation. otherwise they would be satisfied with a relationship and wouldnt need strange cock to enjoy sex.

I agree though with your definition of slut. It does apply for both genders.

Every woman sets a price for sex. Some set it high, waiting for marriage and what not. Some charge for it, and IMO escorts can't really be considered sluts. Setting no, or a low price on sex is "slutty".
