What studies are you referencing, and yes some of the complications involved are caused by the individual. There really isn't any credible statistics that indicates that the practice is harmful, physically or psychologically.

i actually know quite a few people who are passionate about the issue. my partner is against circumcision and we’ve decided if we have a son we will not be doing it.

unfortunately it’s still pretty widely accepted by both men and women, but i do feel the attitude is changing.

I'm not going to disagree with circumcision being wrong, but please do not compare it to female GM. Not even remotely the same thing. My ex made that claim and it drove me crazy.

I mean people do talk about it. I’ve had a number of discussions with people about how it happens in the USA (I’m from Europe).

And please don’t compare MGM to FGM. COMPLETELY different things with completely different consequences.

Apparently it also lowers sensitivity by a ton because it dries out the tip, so cut guys are having to use lube to keep the tip moist in order to maintain sensitivity.

I'm strongly against circumcision, so glad my father ain't do that shit to us, I hope it gets outlawed in my lifetime, if a guy wants to get it done for himself when he turns 18, knock yourself out, if your excuses that "it's too painful" and yet you want to inflict that pain on babies, you're fucked in the head and should probably be arrested anyways 🤷‍♂️

Women won't listen when you compare it to FGM, so that's a dead end , and too many men are indifferent if not supportive of circumcision

On a side note talking about the religious aspect, them jwsh dudes that suck the clipped foreskin from the baby are extra sick and should be **********
