A little story about a Stacy and Chad, and group dynamics.

You want to know what’s unattractive? Watching some mid dude chase Stacy that won’t let him smell her perfume.

When I met him, my hub was/is one of a group of later twenties/early thirties IT guys. No kids yet so it was a mixed group of girl friends, new wives, and friends that hung out. The girl group hated - hated - my hub’s best friend as he was just a fucking Chad, but a nice enough guy too. He just had charisma. The taken girls hated him because he made girls stupid and would encourage the boys to get up to shit, like strip clubs and drinking. He of course didn't simp or cater to women, but still a nice guy.

There was also the really hot blonde - a Stacy. That girl made the men dance. She’d bat her baby blues and roll out the bait and they’d lap it up. She loved a challenge and like some very attractive but very insecure girls, she liked to suck up all the male attention, committed or not. And in a group of more nerdy types, she had them.

Stacy had all but two men on her string. Chad wasn't going to be led by his dick. Neither was my boyfriend (now hub). Hub is short btw 5/8 and stocky. Not your typical Chad. He shrugged her off. Pissed her off. I wasn't as pretty as her but like a 6-7. It made me admire him. I respect a man that shows himself in control.

The Chad part of this is that Hub confessed to me that I was one of the first girls he felt good letting around Chad, that I wouldn't act like a dumbass. We all went to a game and Chad hung all over me drunk as a skunk said he was glad I liked him as all his friends' gf hated him. I wasn't hitting on him or mean to him, I was just nice. Hub respected me because I didn't act stupid around Chad. I treated him like a person.

Chad did fuck Stacy but he wasn't interested. He later got engaged to a pretty girl next door type. But he tragically died in a motorcycle accident.

People say "be confident," but I think things get better when you make it clear - man or woman - that you aren't going to be anyone's doormat. A day came for me where I said I won't let a man treat me like shit no matter how hot or rich. And suddenly better men were interested in me like Hub. And a time comes when a man says I'd rather be alone and keep looking rather than acting like a starved man.

Just some thoughts.
