But really, I do love it here. One of the things I love the most is all the history here. We had a revolutionary war battle in my small town, George Washington was here, Benedict Arnold, general Wooster, etc. We have an old inn here which still has a british cannonball from the war lodged in the side of it. The war for our independence was literally fought on the main Street of my town that i drive down every day. Shit's wild and I absolutely love it.

Six years cumulatively in NYC and I won’t go back to that den of shit weather and neurosis for anything less than Fuck You Money and a schedule that would let me spend half the year somewhere else.

Its chief appeal is the vast and constantly changing scrum of interns wanting some Bright Lights Big City experience and the way the East River looks when you’re going to or from Brooklyn. Even still, too many of the vapid hot people need to be told they’re smart before they wanna fuck. Cali is more honest (Los Angeles) and once autonomous vehicles are a thing, there won’t be a single reason to ever compare quality of life between the two.

West coast all day. Think of the absolutely savage ass pilgrims who dragged their paws all the way out here in the wilderness killing Indians and bears and shit. Complete badasses. Plus the west coast has like 100% of the public land. I feel bad for people in the east who dont know what it's like to have public land to go ride a dirtbike on whilst getting super drunk and then pulling some guns out of the trailer and lighting up a random tree off in the distance.
