Why does RedPill only emphasize certain self-improvements for one gender, when they are generally good human traits?

TRP is designed to be for men. Exclusively. I'm sure they'd tell you that what they discuss can be applied more universally, however.

1) Because women do not require self improvement. They set the bar; they do not require being worthy of their own standards...there will always be sex-starved men of appreciable quality willing to curtail to their demands.

300lbs, unemployed women could culturally shift the demands so that only astronauts get to fuck anything on two legs and that's basically what will happen.

2) Because the state of men is dismal; far below the state of women, in general anyway.

3) Because the self improvement of women is counter-productive to the goals of RedPill in general.

Because confidence in a woman is not as important as confidence in a man. Woman are more attracted to confident behavior in men than the reverse.

It's not 'degendered' because the redpill is a space for men.

When addressing a specific audience it makes sense to tailor your message to that audience.

This is a dumb question. The Red Pill is a male discussion forum, focused on male improvement and successful male sexual strategies. It's not a general self-help site for everyone.

Yeah, learning good social skills helps everyone, regardless of gender, and at a huge variety of tasks, not just attracting sexual partners. So?

It's like people believe there's this unspoken rule that any time somebody says anything, such as: "Men should X," he is required to say, "Oh yeah, and women, children, and space aliens should X, too."

And any time someone says, "Women are X," he is required to say, "Oh, and men are X sometimes, too. And not all women, just some women."

And any time someone says, "Doing X will help you attract women," he is also required to say, "and help you get a better job, stay healthier, and feel better about yourself."

Not every statement is required to include a thorough recounting of every possible application and use of that statement. That would just be stupid and make every subreddit an unfocused pile of shit.

The Red Pill is a male-centered discussion form about sexual strategy.

Most concepts come from pickup, from men who went out and found out what helped them. I actually struggle all the time when it comes to giving women dating advice. It absolutely could translate. Or it could be terrible and not apply at all, or even be detrimental. I don't know, all my advice comes from my own experience and those of people like me.

It's something I think about a lot.

Confidence is more important for men than for women. The burden of approach is on the man. Also TRP emphasizes male dominance, female confidence does not contribute to that. It isn't necessarily counterproductive, but it's kind of irrelevant.

Also confidence is a broad term while the behaviors TRP advises for men and women are more specific. To take a simplistic example, the man should have confidence in himself, the woman should have confidence in her man.
