Given that a lot of men are socialized to be strong, confident, leaders I find it interesting how fetishizes surrounding humiliation are developed.

Like I can understand why some guys would put with it if it means getting a girlfriend, but some seem to genuinely enjoying more so than vanilla sex.

I’m curious if this a nature vs nurture thing (I.e. are men being socialized into becoming softer characters or were there always men that were into this but refused to explore their innate sexual urges because it was too taboo?)
