You can definitely get better at drawing if you practice. You may have a lower skill cap than someone else, but you will improve with practice.

You're right. I have no doubt that there are people out there who can't. Art/drawing is one of these skills I believe that most people could get really good at. That being said, to truly excell in some skills, I think, requires passion and dedication. I think that even a person that couldn't draw a stick figure, if passionate about it, could do it. It would probably just take more time and work for them. For the most part though, people will usually find a skill that is easier for them and has a greater return. Hell, I'm really good at what I do but only got that way because I really didn't want to do anything else. I wouldn't say I was passionate about it but I do really enjoy what I do. That helps.

You can. I was dogshit at drawing as a kid. Like really really bad. Decided I wanted to be better and started studying and learning the basics. Now I’m decent. Not amazing but in a few more years I’ll be even better. It’s just a really slow process for me.

It’s not super hard, if you remember your childhood colouring books that had a picture in a grid and a larger empty grid. The instructions would tell you to copy the image square by square to ‘re-draw’ the image but larger. That technique is one the original techniques for drawing an image to scale ( by scale I mean reproducing the image proportionally ). Give a go it’s really simple to set up and practice on, find a random portrait in a newspaper or magazine and take a pen and grid it out, take a blank paper and do the same. Start by copying the general shape of distinct features, the face and the hair, and then nose and eyes and lastly the mouth. Then slowly start working the darker lines and shading face, very quickly you will get good results and in drawing like everything else it takes practice, that means doing it again and again, and again.

Anita Sarkeesian literally made a 6 minutes video about woman with fat asses in video games, so the joke here is that they’re drawings of themselves are unrealistic to how they actually look, perpetuating the unrealistic beauty they criticize.
