Why don't you deadlift?

For scripture memorization I highly recommend the ScriptureTyper app. I am a big fan of flashcards, but this app is on another level. I think I got the paid version awhile back, but the free version had all of the important features. Check it out.

I too had a Catholic girlfriend before I met and married my wife. We dated for about four years before I broke it off. If she isn't going to convert, save yourself the heartache and move on sooner rather than later. I am 100% grateful I did and God has blessed me richly with my wife who is a solid believer.

Build functional strength is the foundation of any physical improvement goal you may have.

Check out Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training or Strong Lifts 5 x 5. Both are linear progression novice programs and have easy to use apps.

Agree with OZ - why not deadlift? If form is your concern, watch Alan Thrall videos on YouTube.

Heavy compound barbell training is also a key component in raising testosterone naturally. Squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, rinse and repeat.

Everyone focuses on programs a lot. But 80% of your results due to what you shove you face. Don’t neglect proper nutrition.

Welcome, it's great to have you here!

First, let me say thank you for sharing your stats and where you stand spiritually and in other areas. It's very helpful when giving advice and getting to know someone.

Your example is a model for what other advice seekers should be doing if they want detailed, more helpful replies.

I may chime back in with additional answers in other areas, but I'll focus in on the T levels real quick.

As Charles Poliquin has said, "to increase T, decrease C"

C stands for cortisol, and higher levels of it can wreck T levels. Cortisol is a stress hormone, so if you're under a lot of stress, especially chronic stress, you're going to have to find ways to lower it.

Spend more time meditating on God's Word.

Among it's many benefits and blessings, you may find it also lowers stress.

Try morning walks, preferably barefoot, on grass, dirt or concrete. Some call it "grounding" or "earthing" but I don't care as long as it works. You may find it relaxing and stress lowering.

Evaluate your relationships with family and friends, and decide who needs less of your time and who needs more, then cut or add accordingly.

Get more sleep and quality sleep. It very directly affects T levels.

Lift heavy. It increases T.

Clean up your diet, as necessary.

Lowering body fat is a T booster as well, and deep breathing exercises can help here, along with the usual recommendations.

Some "main" supplements that are needed for higher T levels.

Magnesium. (there are many forms, but I like magnesium chloride and magnesium glycinate). You can get magnesium in pills, lotions/oils, liquids, etc. Depends on your preference.

Vitamin D. This is a big one. Up your D intake significantly, but get tested. For overall health and vitality, I recommend 50 to 75 ng/dL in your blood work. Levels over 100 can be toxic and lower levels can bring about all kinds of problems and symptoms. Taking vitamin K and vitamin A along with vitamin D can have benefits. They all three work really well together and help prevent toxicity even at higher levels.

Zinc. Studies have shown higher levels of zinc intake can boost T levels.

A personal favorite is pomegranate. It has many, many benefits. One of which is it boosts T levels by over 20% in just two weeks in one study, but they were taking A LOT of it. I'm going to write up an article about and put it on a personal blog when I knock some other items off my list. The kind I drink is POM Wonderful (pure, not mixed with anything like blueberries) but there's many good brands out there and you can try the more concentrated pills if you prefer.

Tim Ferriss and others like fermented cod liver oil and butter oil made by Green Pastures. I do as well. It's a very good supplement.

I've got to stop here, but this can go on and on. Get started on some of these tips and I think you'll find you'll be in better shape in no time.

and the deadlift is one of the best heavy exercises to stimulate testosterone production. If form is a concern, try the trap bar instead of a regular barbell, to get you started. You stand inside the bar and lift straight up, so you don't have to worry about the strain on your lower back. Deadlifts engage almost every single muscle in your body, and you're cheating yourself out of gains by not doing them.

Finances are okay, but focus on paying off debt so you can be debt-free. Have you read Dave Ramsey's The Total Money Makeover? If you haven't, this book will give you a MAP to financial freedom. I love what Dave says: "What can you do when you don't have any debt? Anything you want!"

am finding it difficult to find a church, I attend a local church except I am not 100% sure its a place to call home, I am praying for the Lords will and not my own. I happy to take any tips since I am a newbie and non married.

Trying to increase Testosterone

In addition to lifting heavier, I would recommend trying Pine Pollen Tincture twice daily, 5 days on, two days off per week. This stuff has made the biggest difference for me, I can literally feel it working.

Figure out this situation with my current GF, she comes from a Catholic Family, she is not a born again Christian (why am I in this relationship) where do I begin?

This is simple: begin with God's word. 2 Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

So God's word is clear on what to do and not do, it's up to you to obey or do your own thing. I understand this puts you in a place to have to make a difficult decision. What if God has the perfect girl picked out for you, but is waiting on you to obey Him and make yourself available for what He wants to do in your life?
