Hey all!

My husband has noticed my positive changes and their impact on our relationship. When he asked what spurred this on, I gave a brief description of the red pill concept. He was receptive and asked for more information, specifically books as he loves to read. I'm ... hesitant... to point him towards the red pill subs on reddit, especially because they can be overwhelming. There also seems to be a large focus for men on getting fit, which he already is. He's asked me to seek out a book about gaining confidence, and he said he's always looking to improve socially as well just for kicks.

So I thought I'd answer the advice questions to offer some more detail, and would love any book recommendations for him, and any further advice for me!

How old are you and how familiar are you with RPW?

25, I'm familiar enough to have implemented the learning and growing in my own thoughts and actions, but I'm not well versed enough to give others advice on it, other than the information on our side bar :)

What is your relationship status?

Happily married

What is the problem? (Don’t badmouth your SO!)

Husband is interested in learning about red pill, has heard virtually nothing about it. He is already physically fit and lifts regularly, but suffers from low confidence. He also is a bit socially awkward at times.

How have you contributed to the problem?

In the past, I have been short in my patience and with my responses. I've been working on being kind, loving and patient. It's working slowly but steadily!

How long has this been an issue?

He has been self conscious about his weight since high school when, due to medication, he gained 50lbs. He was able to lose it early on in college, and has been an avid lifter, runner, and devote calorie counter ever since.

I think he suffers from body body dysmorphia a bit, as even though he has been hit on at the gym and is told OFTEN by me and others that he is attractive, he still feels self conscious about his weight.

What have you done to resolve this problem?

I've always complimented him on his appearance in different ways. We work out together, and our diets are a bit of a hobby for us. However, I think some of these "good" behaviors are more of a band-aid on his self consciousness :'(

How long have you been together?

Four years

Is your relationship long-distance?

Occasionally, when he deploys.

Do you have an active bedroom life?

YES :)
