I came across RPW about a month ago and I really like the advice you ladies (and gents) give. I'm 25 and single, got out of a serious LTR the beginning of this year. I ended things because I didn't feel appreciated and cared for, despite my efforts to make him feel so.

Now that I'm dating again I find myself acting selfish and desiring a lot more than I'm giving. The entitled "princess" attitude, I call it. He doesn't text me first after our date? Boom, move on to the next. He didn't take me to a nice enough place? Nope, that's over. And so on. I found this post: http://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/1jiaua/what_if_women_treated_jobs_like_they_treat/, and it really opened my eyes. Relationships are a two-way street, and I need to give and put in effort for it to have a chance of succeeding. But because of my last relationship, there's a fear that my efforts won't be reciprocated.

I'm in a better place now - I've spent time on myself, working out and eating healthier, spending time with friends and family, and overall developing my femininity. I believe I'm better equipped to judge if a man will be worth my efforts. However, I find myself falling into the princess trap again and again. How can I change this mindset and be more open when it comes to men?
