My husband loves this chocolate stout cake I made for Christmas. He talks about it ALOT, December was almost 5 months ago... I impressed his grandfather with Pralines (an old family recipe). But bottom line, roast with red wine is my husbands favorite meal. I make these little golden potatoes to go along side it! He just loves it.

Last night, I made jerk burgers with hand pressed patties, homemade jerk seasoning, caramalized onions, bacon, pepper jack cheese and an island sauce. I served it with carribean confetti rice and beans.

Usually I make my own sandwich buns, but we had some leftover store bought ones sent home with is this weekend so I used those instead.

I’m going to be making a mushroom and goat cheese tart for my boyfriend and I on Friday night!

We’ve also been obsessed with making elote nachos lately, if you pan sear the corn before you put it on the nachos it makes it sooo good.

Mine loves pumpkin soup. It is as simple as boiling pumpkin in stock (I like chicken), then seasoning and blending with my immersion blender. I chuck a couple of other veg in too before blending.
