Feminism should be about giving you the option to choose now, not shaming you for choosing a more traditional path. You are totally allowed to want that, how realistic it is might depend though.

If that's what you really want, accept you will lose those friends or break up with them at the end you want to be housewife anyway.I totally believe in " Women are woman's worst enemy" as it had happened to me a lot of times. In some cases,it can be mom,sister or cousin or even best friend. Like when I was dating my ex,some of my friends used to say like hey girl,you are special,he shouldn't do that or whatever (you know),in result I lost him and he found girl who actually don't do what friends say.Losing weight,some females will try to put you down and even say you looked better before.So be careful of it if you keep up with your friends. Who knows you will find man and get ring while they will b struggling especially hitting the wall and realise you were right?That's my case

In your cases,you said you are 20 and it is possibility your friends may not get it what you are talking about.

To achieve your wish, don't talk about it or dicuss,just keep it to yourself,work for it and keeping searching for man.

I had the same upbringing. I think if you had a happy childhood and witnessed a traditional, happy marriage, you are going to have an innate desire as an adult to have the same thing and be attracted to the sexual dynamic involved and to men who are leaders and providers. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, and some of your friends will come to the same realization as they grow older.

Honestly women from both sides don’t get each other sometimes. Just stop giving a thought about the people who don’t get you and live your life.

Feminism gave us one thing: the option to do that.

It’s no one else’s life except yours. At the end of the day, you’re gonna be the only one living it. If your friends really care about YOU more than their beliefs, they just need to respect your decision if it makes you happy and it’s what you really want. Again, it’s not their life and they don’t have to live it. People act like traditional marriages are toxic while in reality it’s just toxic people that make marriages toxic. Traditional marriage is actually very strategically advantageous and protective when it comes to developing the strongest family dynamic and relationships possible. It’s also set up to be the most protective.

I think it' s a wonderful thing that you're choosing this path for yourself. I wish I had done the same at your age instead of wasting them on unworthy guys and trying to mold myself to society's expectations (which only results in men taking advantage of you and discarding you because you're "sexually liberated").

As for friends, keep in mind that however painful it is now, you're still young enough to make other friends down the road. Trust me when I say that when you have radically different ways of seeing things, you inevitably grow distant anyway. I probably kept friendships around out of habit rather than true common ground, and these didn't survive me becoming a mother. The people who truly value and respect you and your choices will stick around, the others aren't worth doubting yourself and your choices.

I also had a great upbringing with loving parents. I strayed from the traditional path and bought into what feminism is currently pushing: that we need to want careers and want to be completely independent from a man. “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle.” (Insert eye rolling emoji at myself here) As I got older I realized I wasn’t being true to myself, and I really deep down desired a strong man and a traditional marriage. Luckily I found my wonderful husband and 34 and we fell in love and got married quickly and had 2 wonderful babies. I’m 38 now and have completely changed my thoughts on everything I thought I knew back then. There is nothing more fulfilling for me than being a wife and mom.It is awesome that you know your core values and your desires. Your friends sound like they have some growing up to do. You being true to yourself by going against the cultural norm should be supported by your friends, and should not cause problems. But your friends probably also still have a lot to figure out regarding their values, beliefs, and authentic desires. Just wanted to give you some encouragement!

ETA: there is a whole “trad wife” movement, so maybe look into that and see if you can find like minded people near you, or even online.

There is a certain kind of woman who will try to sabotage their friends' happiness, typically to have their own choices validated or because they are unhappy and resent the happiness of others.

The trick is to simply not discuss it further with them. Fall back to "Everyone makes their own choices and I have to do what's right for me." Then change the subject.

Anyway, while you are waiting for Mr. Right, you should be working on the skillset that will help you appeal to him, both in terms of SMV and RMV. In terms of the former, get fit, and if you already are, then stay fit, and in terms of the latter learn or improve your cooking skills. So few young women can cook when I man finds one who can, it is like Mana from heaven.

everyone has their own plans which they should stick to
friends are there to make you astray
there is not a lot of friends that give you good advices.
