I wanted to share something I was really proud of this morning.

I didn't leave a honey do list. This is me, I'm a list maker, I make lists, I have lists freaking everywhere. The wedding binder, the chalkboard on the kitchen wall, the shopping list on the fridge and my notebook in my purse -- lists always lists. It's how I function.

Future Husband took today off work, he has tomorrow off due to the company he works for. All weekend we were productive on a project we had wanted to get started on, and all weekend he was listing off the things he wanted to get done over these next to days (winterizing parts of the house, yard work, working on a car in our garage...). My typical MO would be to write it all down for him and leave it somewhere such as the kitchen counter to remind him all the things he should be doing while I'm at work, and I'd probably check in around lunch to see how everything was going. But the truth is - these are his two days, and if he changes his mind and doesn't want to do them and he wants to relax and just catch up on his own personal things so be it. Work has been so stressful why should I make home life stressful. So as much as I wanted to leave one I didn't. There was no to-do list for him when he woke up. And honestly I'm really freaking proud of myself! (Ya gotta start somewhere)
