A lot of people won't date their coworkers, and for good reason. Even if this guy is attracted to you there is a solid chance he just won't pursue.

It sounds like you are doing everything right. I think you might be too focused on one specific man and perhaps not noticing the other high value men that are looking your way. Be open to other options.

You can stop trying to lead. You are too focused on him. Keep improving yourself. Have fun with your friends and hobbies. You will meet a HVM in the process. It is a man's role to lead the relationship.

This is just my opinion, so do with it what you will:

If you've ever lucid dreamed, you'll notice that your thoughts and actions are one and the same. You'll be flying, and then you'll think "Wait, I can't fly!", then you immediately fall.

I think our brains work like this all the time. If you tell yourself that you're ugly, you give out 'Keep away from me' vibes. You tell other people, unconsciously, that you're not good enough.

Same with saying there's no good men around. If you do that, you're likely to filter out perfectly good men so your beliefs are verified.

I'm interested in the law of attraction (specifically Neville Goddard) for this reason. I don't try to win the lottery with it, but it's been valuable in changing the way I think.

At any rate, it seems like you should take a long hard look at your self-talk. Life is a lot more joyful when you get along with yourself!
