(If applicable) How did you come to terms with the different versions of femininity and decide which suits you best?

Recently I’ve come to realize that I excel at being a calm, comforting presence to others when they feel distressed or tense. Men and women have told me some version of “I feel comfortable with you”, “You help people relax when they’re nervous”, or “You’re so chill”. In the past I worried that being quiet and reserved made me cold, and that I had to be more bubbly and outgoing to be ‘girly’. But I’ve learned that you don’t have to be a social butterfly or the ‘fun one’ to be likable as a woman. People appreciate a soothing, grounding presence as well as a lively one. This is something I really look forward to bringing to a relationship too— providing a space where my SO can just relax and recover from the stress of everyday life. (I feel like this sub calls it a soft place to land or being his peace or something?)
