"Equal" is the wrong word to use here, maybe equally important to the function of a marriage/relationship would be better phrasing. My husband is the head of the household, and I support and encourage his role while being fully capable of stepping into his shoes if the need arises. We discuss major decisions, and I handle my own life at work where I am in the leadership role, but he directs our personal relationship.

Edited to add that the reason this works well for a lot of relationships is that leading the relationship puts the man in a masculine role, and the masculine attracts the feminine. I attempt to act and look more feminine to attract the masculine (my husband). It is reverting back to the relationship dynamic of the days before feminism decided to encourage girls to embrace masculinity and take on leadership roles in their relationships.

You may have misunderstood a little. RPW is here to help maintain or get a relationship and understand basic differences between men and women. we believe that the man is in fact the more dominant role and by adopting a submissive role towards your man will greatly improve your marriage / relationship. It is also anti feminist :-)

The best football player in the world is far more valuable than the coach, but he will still execute the play that the coach calls if he wants to win. If he is doing one thing and all his teammates are doing something else, that is a recipe for disaster.

Someone has to call the plays, and unless he/she is incompetent, everybody else has to be a team player and execute. Note that this isn't a permanent thing that expands to every aspect of life. For example, the CEO of a company may defer to the CFO on financial matters, or he may even defer to a low level analyst on a very specific issue where the analyst is the subject matter expert.

Because women generally "marry up", meaning the the men in relationships are on average older, have more life experience, is more educated, have a higher salary, etc, it makes often makes sense that the man makes the play calls on certain matters (e.g. such as financial matters). It may make sense for the woman to make the calls on the relationships where the woman is senior, more experienced, etc, but those relationships are more rare because of the mating preferences that most women have. It doesn't mean that the woman is dumb or incompetent, she could be smarter than the guy, but she is not going to object unless the play call is wrong and harmful to the team.

Usually, there is more than one right way to do something, and feminists get so pissed off that it isn't "her way", that they would rather object and obstruct and end up not getting it done. Or they would feel that they need to alternate the play caller in the name of "equality", and that ends up destroying any ability to commit to a long term strategy because they keep going one step left and then one step right, and end up going nowhere.

Submissive/submission has a bad connotation. But in order to succeed, both the man and the woman must submit to the good of the team. The team is more efficient when the players specialize in different roles. It is really bizarre for women to fall in love with men who are very masculine, and then refuse to let him call the plays on masculine roles. It's like a football team recruiting a great quarterback, and then putting him out to play receiver.

For feminists who feel like it is important for them to "be the man" in the relationship and call all the shots, they should go for the younger beta males that are willing to take a backseat. However, most feminists are not attracted to that. They need to decide whether the feminist imperative is more important or whether being with an alpha male is more important (or maybe it isn't important to them, and they are happy to get a submissive male feminist), because they cannot have both.

I post in here all the time. It is truly the best place for older red pillers who are married to a RPW to congregate as well. It is a nice counter point to young bucks that want to put notches on their belts. I did that, it got old. No one wants to be the 35 year old guy in the club.

Another point too about here. The world told me there was something wrong with my wife (I thought that secretly until about 2 weeks ago and passively tried to change her. I was playing with fire) . Here told me there is nothing wrong with her and she exactly who I have always dreamed her to be, a perfect match.
