Member of RPW for a while, using a throw away

This August I (30) will be married to my husband (32) for 10 years. We have two kids. I'm a SAHM who homeschools. I also take classes at a local community college but have the semester off.

My husband makes decent money for our area ($20/hr, often with over time.) We are buying our home from a family member on land contract so our house payment is low. Our car is not in great shape but it's paid off. We had two cars up until last year, when our second vehicle broke down.

I feel like I'm suffocating. My husband is constantly in a bad mood. I clean the house every day (not perfectly but certainly presentable.) I make every meal, every day from scratch. I pack his lunches for work every day. I keep our kids from nagging him to the point that they have almost no relationship.

He complains constantly: -He doesn't like my food (both our families think I'm a really good cook). If I add any spice that isn't salt, it's "disgusting". He does it so often that our kids will compliment any meal he finishes as "hey! This must not be bad!" - everything we own is "crap" - if I spend too much money, I'm chastised for wasting money, if I spend too little I'm chastised for it being "crap" - he makes comments about my weight and asks me nearly every day if I've worked out. I'm 5' 3" and 144 lbs. Not flawless but Im average at worst. If I eat anything that isn't one of the three meals a day, he says no or tells me I don't need it, despite him and the kids having snacks and dessert. He tries to play it off as a joke if I protest. - he hates our pets. We have a dog and a cat. The dog was only allowed when I justified it as protection for the house. He lives outside. The cat was only allowed once we started having a mouse problem. She also lives outside. - if the car makes any sort of noise, he interrogates me about it despite me only ever using it to get groceries once a week. He has it every day, all day otherwise - he makes fun of the music I like, the shows I like, the books I like

There are many, many more examples but I'm too frustrated to list them all right now.

We attend the church he grew up at as a child. He refuses to go anywhere else despite me not liking it at all. As soon as he gets home from work every day, he'll go get something as a snack then he'll go watch TV until he goes to bed (at 8pm). Every other day he'll also workout for about a half hour. He doesn't eat dinner with us, he eats alone at the TV and we eat at the table. I know he's depressed. I've begged him to talk to someone or see a doctor. He refuses.

I have no friends. The only people we spend time with his is brother and his brothers wife, who I enjoy but don't have much in common with. I'm not allowed to go anywhere because everything is a "waste of money." He constantly complains about not having enough money. He compares our things to everyone else's things and in his eyes, we're failures.

I don't have the resources to leave. My only hobby is gardening. He told me this year that he didn't want me to do one because we didn't have a tiller and he refused to borrow one from his dad. I went ahead and started one anyway (which included being lectured about the waste of money.) I knew if I didn't, I'd have a breakdown.

I've been on antidepressants for about a year now. They're barely keeping my head above water. I can see my children (7 and 5) developing poor attitudes similar to his. If my schooling doesn't pan out, I don't know how I'll have the will to keep being patient and loving.

Any thoughts?

Edit: thank you for the comments so far. The idea has been mentioned a couple times for me to get a job. Right bow we only have one vehicle and my husband won't even look for another one because "we can't afford it". To clarify on our financial status, which I am in charge of - we're not impoverished in any way. We have little to no bills and my husband makes decent money. He just won't spend it because "everything is a waste".
