I always watch sense and sensibility (the one with Alan Rickman... I love him, RIP). I just love how the sisters care for each other and Elinor is everything I want to be, but I'm such a Marianne! I just love the relationship in Jane Austen's books (and the movies too!)

Howl’s Moving Castle- (dubbed version) even if you’re not into anime at all... the animation is gorgeous and the lead character is kind of a steam punk RPW in her own right. It’s a beautiful story

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before- guilty pleasure netflix rom com... a great guide in some ways for young RPW

Midnight In Paris- not quite a love story, some of the characters will give you more of a “what NOT to do” vibe, but its so sweet and entertaining in so many other ways... it’s a good movie to watch on a date :)

I think my favorite movie with a feminine main female character is The Mummy (1999). Since this is also one of my husband's all-time favorites, we enjoy watching it together. I also enjoy watching Rachel Weisz in Constantine (2005).

For top personal favorites.. since my heart is a dusty little dark raisin, the movies I love the most have stories that are either metaphors or non-linear. My most recent favorite is Annihilation (2018).

I love the original Stepford Wives, lol. Frustrated feminist can't rile up her new neighbors. Turns out they're only happy and domestic because they're all robots! And the evil men did it! Oh no!

And I love stereotypes and tropes in movies. Hallmark Christmas <3 and Indiana Jones, the Mummy, older James Bond, love them all.
