When I'm in a relationship looks start to matter much more to me. I start worrying to much about the way that I look and act. And it just feels so empty. It's like my life is losing meaning. When I'm alone I can focus only on creating and building stuff. I spend days learning and studying. No ego, no pride, no feeling inadequate.

And then, when I get into a relationship guys start commenting on my looks and I feel like I get used to it fast and start to depend on that validation. Or, if the comments are bad, it's even worse. Today my boyfriend teased me about my looks and it broke me. If it were a friend I would laugh, but knowing how important that is for that relationship it hurt.

This whole dating and relationships world is just so exhausting. It's always about the looks. And when I play a game I want to be great at it so I can't brush it off.

Also, since I was a kid I was amazed by scientists such as Tesla. My dream was to live alone and just do math and science all day. And maybe have a friend with whom I can discuss those things.

I love my boyfriend a lot, but nothing compares to that feeling of happiness I have when all I focus on is work. When my brain is weighted with thoughts about the way I look. When I go to the gym and run instead of doing legs (because my ass isn't too big and he has no problem mentioning it).

I feel like I'm losing myself. Life feels so shallow. Isn't love supposed to make it better? Should I just go and do what I've always dreamed of, something like WGTOW? Just working on the things I find meaningful. But I'm afraid. I'm afraid I'll wake up one day and regret wasting my best years.

Sometimes it feels like sex and relationships are the next thing I need to let go to reach some new level of spirituality.
