Try something more mental, less physical. The reason things are so exciting at the beginning is that buildup of sexual tension. It’s all in your head (and literally… his… head.. lol) until you break the tension. That’s where passion comes from.

After 10 years, you might spend too much time together (and too much “regular time” - distance really does make the heart grow fonder). I believe the healthiest couples maintain their own independent lives. without there, you cannot miss someone and build that tension.

Are you having your own hobbies? your own friends? Own interests?

The “guarantee” of sex takes away that feeling of being turned on too… the sex is assumed to take place between you two. Again, the excitement in the beginning is in the unknown, hoping it will happen but never really knowing for sure until it does - it’s a fun game of cat and mouse back and forth.

Go back to that - don’t be so available, don’t be so certain, and relish in the ability to be mysteriously feminine. Sure, it’s sexy for the guys, but it’s more fun that way for us women too

I’m in a similar situation as you, as my fiancé and I both work from home. We’ve only been together a year but I can already see the effects of too much time together and I’m terrified. I’m curious—does he still get turned on by you? Or is it just you struggling? And if I may ask, how often do you have intimacy and how much time do you spend together etc.? Is it easier for you to get turned on after you’ve seen him less ?
