How much money did you actually spend? In the previous post you said you shop out of boredom and you seem to be dismissive of his concerns. I've also noticed your refusal to take any responsibility for these problems, even in this post blaming your husband entirely for the failed marriage.

If you think it's literally over 50£, this will sound harsh but it's completely delusional.

One of my exes was exactly like that "you are getting annoyed by 20£ spending blabla". Well, she even says those days that I was stingy. Typical gaslighting. Where she didn't argue anymore was at the mathematics: 10-20-50£ pounds almost every day, financially it simply ruined the bank account. The most tiring part is that she would stop temporarily and restart asap. Again small spending from there and there left us with nothing at the end of the month. One of the funniest arguments a woman can make is "It's not like I'm buying luxurious stuff". Yes honey, but the result is the same.

I didn't read your previous post but again there is absolutely no way this is over a one-time 50 pounds spending. I don't believe it's also because of cancer. Any man, even a nice guy, will stick to you in those cases and hard times. This is typical mental gymnastics where you don't want to take responsibility for the spending or maybe another behavior. It would benefit you to ask him exactly what is going on and usually, it would be an accumulation of different things (say spending and lots of arguments or no sex).

Edit: seeing your comments, you are clearly avoiding any kind of responsibility and dodging intelligently the questions that would put the blame on you.

Edit: after reading your replies and the original post. I agree that you seem to not be taking the money spending seriously (there was an “lol” in a reply on how much you spent). I’m sorry you are dealing with a cancer diagnosis. That however doesn’t give ground to spend money however you want. You can read through all the posts dealing with my money issues - my overspending even with lots of sorrow and understanding has been a big thing for my marriage to overcome. I really wonder how seriously you are taking your husband’s concerns. It seems in many ways you’d like us to pat you on the back and say “there there” to make you feel better. But in reality you aren’t behaving like a wife at all.

You sound flippant and irresponsible. A diagnosis and loss doesn’t give you free reign to act like this. I’m sure there’s more to this story.
