We all know the general life script:
* Girl rides the cock carousel of alpha males in her late teens and 20's
* her SMV begins to fall, and the snooze alarm on her biological alarm clock goes off
* Since she never did tame an alpha male, she finds a beta bucks for provisioning
* With sperm from the beta or preferably some random alpha, she has a child, maybe two. (US female fertility is 1.86 lifetime offspring per woman).
* Divorce rapes the husband, lives off of alimony and child support.

This is as far as it seems to go in discussion here, probably because most trp subscribers have not yet experienced the waves of marriage (in the late 20's/early 30's) and divorces (in the late 30's/early 40's).

So my question is, then what?

Just, cat ladies?
Clearly, there is a certain amount of remarriage. But I have to wonder. Do men just keep doing it all over again, finding another woman to support?

To suggest that it becomes a game of musical chairs after the round of middle age divorces doesn't make sense to me.
Why remarry and loose the alimony and child support? That just substitutes certain provisioning for risk.
With provisioning assured, I submit that these women are out there looking for alpha fucks again. In their 40's and 50's - menopausal, or nearly so - they won't be able to get the same quality alpha they did 20 years ago. Still, entitlement calls for nothing less than the best available - plus bitching and moaning about the lower quality of what is available.

I suspect these women are riding the carousel as best they can, with a second tier of alphas.

Anyone have any thoughts about this? Evidence for or against the hypothesis?

Final thought, Ashley Madison. Clearly aimed at older (unfaithful) women, it clearly shows that after marriage, women still crave alpha. Their self worth is tied to getting alpha. Does that craving for status just end when they dry up in menopause? I doubt it very much.
