A couple of days ago, I was going to meet this girl for a few drinks. I'm not interested in fucking her, and I made the mistake of thinking it was good to keep her around, as she does bring other girls in on nights out. This only works if she wants to fuck you, otherwise she will try you as a beta in front of other girls.

This girl has wanted to fuck me, but as I'm recently single, this seems to have faded. Preselection eh?

Anyway. Something changed somewhere down the line. I was running about 5 minutes late. I shot her a FB message saying I was running a bit late and she says she is too tired, can we do this another night? I asked her if she was serious and she has already gone home. I didn't reply after that, and I don't intend on talking to her again.

Fortunately, I sent a message to some friends and a few of us met up and went to a bar. I'm lucky in that sense as I wouldn't have wanted to waste an hour round trip.

I am curious how people would handle this situation? I'm not sure where I've lost frame, but it's clear she no longer views my time as valuable. Sadly I'm not angry, just disappointed. This girl verifies the existence of AWALT: but she is strange enough to not realise why she has very few friends.

As far as I can see there is no way I can interact with her again, or I would look like a pushover and reinforce this negative behaviour. I don't think this is a woman-specific thing, if one of the guys did this too me, they'd be getting the silent treatment too.
