I have been into self-help for a while and most of it is very general and safe. TRP has been huge for me in that it gets to root of problems (i.e. your underlying thoughts) and works from there.

My main issues are

  • Concentration and time management

I usually find that my productivity nosedives about an hour or so in. How can I maintain it for a longer period of time. I have noticed that if I come back to something the next day or even go away and do something else for a few hours, it picks up again.

Also I find that working on my own, I am much slower than I can be, again how do I get the ball rolling and keeping the momentum?

I have also tried changing scenery once in a while (going library, going to different parts of the library, going home for a meal and coming back etc.) and that seems to help too.

  • Breaks

I have talked about going away from something to try again later, but what is the best way to break? I have heard a number of ways, but how do you get away from that fatigue in your mind? Is playing videogames a good alternative, or what about reading something that you find interesting?

Thanks!
