TL;DR Conversation with blue pill friends escalates when they challenge my opinions on marriage, women, et al. Instead of redirecting the conversation or cracking a joke to lighten the mood, I escalated to defend my position, leading to an argument that dampened the atmosphere.

 

I sat around this evening with my local group of friends, enjoying a few beers after watching game seven of the NBA finals. After a time, the familiar topics of women, sex, and relationships arose. Some of the guys have really funny stories to share, while others mostly listen in. Having spent the past year swallowing the red pill (in my case, swallowing the red pill is a process, not a single moment in time), I've often shared stories of my sexual exploits with them, as men in a private atmosphere often do. We crack jokes and talk about explicit stuff, and it's generally a good time, always a lot of laughter.

 

For my part, I generally keep my stories brief, with the minimal amount of detail needed to get the point across. Tonight the topic of relationships and marriage came up. I mentioned that I didn't see myself ever getting married, and that decision had a lot to do with a loss of respect I have for women based on my experiences. One of my friends asked me what I meant, and challenged me with, "If you don't have respect for women, are you surprised with how they treat you?". So I decided to give a brief chronicling of the most recent girl I had seen to attempt to explain what I meant. Big mistake.

 

I could probably write up a reasonable field report for this particular story, but the short of it is I had gone out with a refreshingly feminine and conservative woman (rare in my city), banged her a few times, to which she was always left pleasantly breathless, only for her to respond to my next date invitation with "You're great, I've had a lot of fun, but I don't see it working out".

 

Now, there's a lot packed into that, and she could be saying a lot of things. Maybe she wasn't happy with the sex (didn't seem to be the case but could still be), or maybe she's an HB8 26 year old who thinks she has many years left to ride the CC train. I don't exactly know.

 

But the point I made to my friends was simply this: women aren't reliable. They act on emotions, and don't work off of long term planning (at least, not in the way men do), and with that being the case, I find it hard to see why it is I'd want to enter into the long term contract of marriage with beings such as this.

 

This essentially spilled over into a conversation about women and how they select mates. It was at this time I began to get some confrontation from one of the guys in the group. A certain guy in our group, who's always given off a vibe of feeling intimidated around me, began to ridicule me based on my "views of women". It was all classic blue pill shit, the kind of thing that really just makes you feel sad for them. He chastised me for sharing my stories of fucking women in an attempt to cast me as a womanizer. I attempted to explain that the more women a man sleeps with, the more attractive he's going to be to other women, but the opposite is true for women. This is a basic red pill truth, but as I defended my position, I realized that I had overstepped my bounds.

 

It hit me: I need to shut my mouth. I need to walk away from this conversation. It had already become heated, and it took me too long to recognize that I was fighting a losing battle. I've always had trouble backing down from an argument, but I realized that this time, I was single handedly ostracizing myself from my friends.

 

Lessons Learned

  • Never talk about red pill truths openly, not even with your male friends.

  • Learn to recognize when you're fighting a losing battle, and don't allow yourself to let the conversation escalate.

  • Blue pill men will shame you for your sexual interactions with women and use them to cast you as sub-human.

  • If someone challenges your views (Red Pill), never lose frame. Keep cool, and dismiss them either by ignoring them, or changing the topic.
