Cold Approach is obviously gonna work less often but I think the point is for example that if u cold approach 10 girls and 2 are interested . that 2 is better than 0 you would’ve gotten otherwise from that crop .

Personally for me I think the benefit of cold approach is to teach guys you can get girls anywhere as opposed to waiting for an appropriate time. Ex asking out that cute girl you saw at the grocery store vs waiting to go to a bar.

However I think people glorify it and it should be use as a supplement to warm approaches ie social circle and hobbies which will net you way more girls in the long run.

Edit: The Pua idea of grinding out 100s of approaches with a 2% success rate is extremely unsustainable and a terrible attrition rate which will lead many who don’t have a certain personality type to failure and disappointment. Especially coming from guys who clearly already have underdeveloped social skills.

I get everyone is trying to get laid... But, isn't the actual purpose of cold approach to help you not be some dumb fuck when it comes to social interactions?

By approaching, constantly, it gives you the ability to 'level up' your social game and become a fun, energetic, (life of the party, if you will) type of dude!

I don't know about you guys but I would rather be that 1 guy she sends IOI's to and then I approach. The only way to get IOI's is to hit the gym and improve your Skincare, get a better haircut etc.

This is because IOI's for the most part are STRICTLY based off physical appearance. Same way we don't Cold Approach Ugly Women.

Women don't give IOI's to average men only the top 20%. Hence the 80/20 Rule. This is NOT I repeat NOT easy to do but once it is done you will be very thankful YOU put in the work.

I think that the point of cold approaching is getting used to talk with women. Maybe to prevent this kind of scenario: "a girl is interested in you but you lack the balls to talk to her because you are afraid of a possible rejection"

To a certain extent, cold approach is a good idea. It enforces the fact that 1. You are not special (yet) 2. A woman's rejection is not the end of the world 3. You are not closing off yourself to possible relationships / hookups just because you are afraid

As for building yourself to be a man who gets IOI's, the first phase of red pill is self improvement: cold approaches (and even warm approaches) won't be effective unless you are at a reasonable point in your life (looks, confidence, money etc).
