Back in September, I switched programs and moved to a smaller university where I am essentially with the same group of 20-30 students for every class within the first 2 years. This is where I met Chris, who is 5-6 years older than me in his late twenties. I discovered TRP around the same time, and over the course of the last 5 months as I began my journey of unplugging, Chris has been a great example of what NOT to do.

  • Chris is your typical "nice guy". He opens the doors for the girls, offers to buy them coffee on a weekly basis, and has more than once offered to walk some of them back to their cars after one of our night courses. Don't be creepy. Don't be needy. Don't be like Chris.

  • Chris shows up to class dressed like a bum. On days when we have to wear formal business attire (like today), he shows up in a loose fitting suit and wearing a tie that isn't tied properly. His shirt is red, his pants are black, and his tie is blue. Get a sense of style, know what clothes suit you, and dress well. At the very least, have a general sense of awareness regarding how people perceive you. Don't be like Chris.

  • While having some after-class beers with him and a handful of other classmates (including some of the better looking girls in our program), Chris gets a little tipsy and completely out of the blue reveals quite loudly that he's currently on a dry spell of 8 months without getting it in. The convo immediately died and it got pretty awkward after. Understand basic social skills, how to escalate, and how not to make a fool of yourself just because you have some liquid confidence. Don't present yourself as being low-value. Don't be like Chris.

  • I was grabbing a quick bite to eat between classes with arguably the hottest girl in our program, where she revealed that Chris added her on Facebook about two days after meeting eachother back in September, and had asked her out to dinner (over Facebook) by the end of the second week. She politely declined. We had a good laugh about that, and needless to say it has gotten pretty awkward between them considering we are with the same group for every class 5 days a week. Understand your social interactions and don't go about them like an idiot. Don't be like Chris.

  • It's pretty clear that after classes, Chris does nothing but post stupid shit on Facebook all day long. He replies to messages instantly, uses a shit ton of emojis, and is clearly craving attention and any type of interaction. This behaviour does nothing but turn girls away by showing them you have nothing more interesting going on in your life than your social media feed. Don't be like Chris.

I could honestly go on for hours about the little things that Chris does which he thinks are good (in terms of how others perceive him) but really does nothing more than dry girls up like the Sahara. Just found it interesting to notice these things as I've begun my red pill journey.

tl;dr don't be like Chris.
