Can anyone really think of a time they changed anyone's fundamental core beliefs on an argument?

Couple of times off the top of my head... probably more. It's less fulfilling than you'd think.

I've never changed anyones mind by opening my mouth.

I have. I once turned half a room of so-called liberals who were initially opposed to interfering elsewhere in the world... into people who endorsed cold blooded murder just because I said it was the right thing to do. Don't underestimate the power of rhetoric. There's a reason Russell Brand infuriates people through his cretinous levels of intelligence... yet can command an audience brilliantly and seduce a level of woman that even the top guys here would nod respectfully at.

Anyhoo, the main thing I dropped in here to point out is that there's actually purpose to argumentation if you know what you're doing. It's the logical way in which we can discuss issues and gain intellectual growth. There's an old guide to this I wrote a while back in my submissions history if you're interested. I wrote this because most people suck at arguing... they don't actually understand what they're doing because we're never taught it at school. (But everyone thinks they're great lol.)

As you say though, keep it separate from your seduction. It doesn't belong there and will never help you... unless you're doing some sort of public debate in which case winning will give you massive conditional status boost (status trumps all) and you'll probably get hit on by some women from the audience after the event.

you're right though. most of the time if they're gonna argue with you it's because they're too fucking stupid to comprehend what you want them to understand. the people who are on the level don't need to be told shit.

Is there a judge? Is there a jury? Is there a deciding panel of some form? No? Then there is no point in arguing. There is nothing to win.

That said, a well delivered opinion can change minds. State your peace and move along.

There is no point in arguing at all. The other person(you too) will not change his mind and admit that he's wrong. The ego is stronger. Maybe, big maybe, the guy will go home and think about it, start searching and realize that he is wrong, but he will NEVER admit it in your face.
Especially with women, where logic usually fails. The only thing you will get trying to argue is one more enemy.

Listen to him and then keep on doing what you were doing anyway.

I tell my self this all the time. Is it even worth arguing, and if I do what will gain from it? This is why I never argue.

I don't know if you guys have read it, but the book "how to win friends and influence people" covers this pretty extensively. Avoid arguments at all costs. You're not going to change anyone's mind, and you'll more often than not inspire a long lasting resentment within that person towards you. It also makes you look like an asshole if you take it too far.

Well people think things happen all of a sudden. It is important to argue the core of who you are, these cannot be negotiated, i see this core as a collection of experiences that have worked out well for you. Usually these core principles are UNIVERSAL, they apply to everyone, rich or poor.

An example is working towards good health, even rich men cannot buy a great body or good health. This is not negotiable for me, if she calls me a fitness freak and tries to change my attitude in this area i will say too bad you can walk away.

Other more trivial things i will not argue and let people make up their own decisions.

Sometimes, it could be important to argue with someone a lot, because a lot of failure happens everyday, in that little thing you decide not to do or do, and those little things grow.

So its important to figure out some CORE PRINCIPLES of life and argue them, goals, wins, losses, how you eat, are all TRANSITORY, depending on where you were born, class etc.

Bullshit. Leadership is a skill that can be developed and honed with practice and time. Different types of situations and groups require different types of leaders.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman's style works very well when trying to take the precious hill # 212; but leading a team of salesmen, accountants or engineers is very different.

We have a problem on the redpill. We're not popular.

This isn't our problem, it's our strength. Just like a society 100% full of "my way or the high way" men would collapse on itself, we don't want to "pierce social media in America", that'd change all of this knowledge as well as practicing it from an advantage to simply average. At the top are always those who value individual thought over social cohesion.
