I had a similar experience to another recent poster's, maybe the first time I've ever succeeded in holding a masculine frame.
I had set up a date with a newish plate, nothing too fancy, she was going to come over on Friday night, I was going to grill a little bit - I love to cook for two, it's one of my favorite things - we were going to drink and screw and watch a movie. I didn't set a time but dinnertime was discussed.
So I'm prepping food in the kitchen. Around 8 PM she texts me that she has a lot to do, she's thinking she won't come over after all, and that she'll see me some other time. I don't see the text until about 9:45, by which point I'm fairly annoyed because I was feeling stood up. I am willing to give people the benefit of the doubt - I had assumed she'd had some kind of family emergency or car wreck or something - and I was pretty upset. I texted her back something like "are you coming?" and got another "no, let's get together some other night" and I thought about it, thought how disrespectful it is to stand a guy up on a Friday with no notice, and thought "I don't stand for this."
So I texted her "We'll get together in 15 minutes or we won't get together at all. Your choice." I figured I'd just nexted her, as she lives about a 20 minute car ride away.
She texted me back something I didn't even bother to read. I typed in "You now have 11 minutes" and shut the phone off. I spent the next few minutes thinking that being alone was better than being with some bitch who thinks it's appropriate to jerk my chain around like that. This was a new kind of thought for me.
She showed up about 15 minutes later, unkempt and upset. I was surprised. But I bet a lot of readers of this sub are not surprised.
She wanted to talk of course; I sat her down on the couch and calmly explained that I had never been stood up on a Friday night, that I viewed that action as disrespectful, and that I appreciated that she had decided to come after all. She was upset, but listened calmly; as she began to craft her reply, though, she got hysterical and within moments she was shouting.
I thought to myself "What the fuck, I thought she wasn't going to show anyway, why not make tonight go the way that I think it ought to go." And the way I wanted the night to go didn't involve me getting yelled at. Women have yelled at me a lot in my 42 years, and I think I may have exceeded my lifetime quota of that. So I snapped "Don't raise your voice to me."
She stopped instantly, apologized and looked at me meekly. I said, "How about I make you a drink, we relax a little bit, I cook you dinner, and then we watch a little bit of a movie and then fuck?" And that's exactly what she did. She had the most incredible series of orgasms I've ever given a girl; she said she lost control completely and that she'd never done that before. Her eyes rolled up and her stomach was quivering.
More to the point, we both had a good time, not the soggy bitch-fest this would have been had I let her direct the evening. I have had far too many soggy bitch-fests in my life; I know just how they go. She had a much better time than she would have, had I let her keep yelling at me. So did I.
This was about two months ago. We have had a series of enjoyable dates and great sex. She started to raise her voice to me once since then during a petty disagreement; she actually stopped herself immediately and apologized.
The flip side of this, of course, is that I treat her courteously as I would like to be treated; I do not bitch her out, raise my voice to her, or behave like the whiny beta bitch I used to be. Courtesy is different from weakness; in the past, if I raised my voice, it was from a place of beta weakness. So far I have not felt the need to raise my voice to this girl, not once.
We have a good time. She asked to be exclusive lately - promised she would be, regardless - and I told her that if she kept me well-fed and well-fucked on our dates, that that satisfaction of me was the most that she could ever hope for, and that there would be no promises. Now we understand that our relationship exists for the mutual benefit and enjoyment of each of us, for only as long as it continues to serve that purpose.
I would not have believed it, but she really has seemed to blossom within this frame. She is much younger than I am, and I have seen her grow as a woman even in the few months we have been dating. When she arrives to see me, she is joyous; she glows; she desires me. In the past my relationships have petered out around this point, as women detected that I couldn't pass a shit test.
This time it's different.
I realize this is remedial Red Pill stuff for the retarded class, not advanced game theory; but I was in that retarded class not too long ago and it was this sub that opened my eyes. If you, a man, are out there, reading this, in the beta place where I was: know that it doesn't take much. Just a little willingness to hold that frame and take the relationship where you want it to go. If you do, you will both benefit.
